I really like this. Keep it going. I love colors and how you implemented it into the souls. I think this serves as a more daunting dynamic for Ian, having been chosen by Aeron himself (accidentally or not)...it just feels more permanent. Yes, I think I like this even more than the last version.

OMG! I am so disappointed that you changed the story the original was sooooooooo good and it was just starting to get really exciting!!!! Is there any way you could repost the original along with this one? Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaassseeeeee on bended knee!

Please repost your old story (or possibly do both)

I really liked it and it's a shame if you have to delete stuff in your story just because other people say so.
I did not read 'Inside Out', but I think this website is to express your writing talents and you shouldn't hide yours.

If people don't like your old story, they can just read something else (or maybe your new one, which is also very nice!)
Critics and writing tips are helpful to improve your skills but not if they make you doubt yourself.

So please once again, don't delete your old one and just go for it!
I look forward to read more, always waiting for a new update :)

Hi, let me start by saying that I think BOTH of the versions of this story are written beautifully. Furthermore I went back and read the story that you said people were saying that you copied from and may I say, No, you did nothing of the sort. The idea of " true mates", first of all, does not belong to anyone. Also your story was written beautifully and with a mature hand. While I do not deny that there were similar aspects, you immediately veered in a completely different, and may I opinionize better, direction than the other author. Your characters are completely orignal and so is your use of various terminology and aspects such as magic. You have, in essence, enhanced the topic of true mates in a way that the other auor failed. I quite enjoyed the first version and I'm entirely certain that I will enjoy this version also if you wish to pursue it instead. Best of luck to you in all your writing, AnonFriend

It's me again! Well, I just read the rewrite and I have to say that I personally prefer the original version... I hope you will repost that one :)

I did like this version, but I liked the old version more. Now that theres literally dozens of places to post stories, there are thousands of them being created every day and there will be a few things that end up getting repeated. Its like that old saying about three monkeys on a typewriter eventually making shakespeare. If you have thousands of people trying to come up with ideas, some of them will be similar.
I don't think that there was enough in common between the stories to warrant scrapping the old version. I think you put a lot of effort into getting so far into the original version and I would hate for all that to be for nothing. I think you should just finish the original, then if you still wanna make this version too you can work on that. And if you wanna get into the whole "finding out your mate is your enemy" being a copywrited thing, there are a lot of twihard fanfics that would need to be scraped, and if its the mate-bond thing then a LOT of romance books but be in major trouble.

So glad to see you put your original back up. If anyone is so childish as to continue complaining, point them to all of these comments in support of your original.

Aww...well, I think you can still incorporate the colors in there later if you wanted to anyway. This version is fine by me, too. I'll read any version so long as there's a finale in the foreseeable future. :3

i'm so glad you put this back up, this is one of my favorite stories on here. just ignore comparisons to that other fic - they don't even make sense. all stories can be compared to other stories, because people share common interests/tastes and we only live on this one planet; stories aren't created in a vacuum after all - it is only ever an issue when there is downright stealing and that is so obviously not the case here, i hate that it's even been suggested as you don't deserve that. if we didn't have so many awesome authors out there like you writing creative, imaginative stories, what a boring world this would be. it is a privilege to read your work. thank you for sharing your writing with us!
