Very nice chapter. I do like the way you're portraying the True Mate Bond as a truly 'automatic' thing that is unconditional / uncorruptable / unconscious no matter what and even if people caught in it want to feel otherwise.

I feel very sorry for both of them, in that Ian is terrified of becoming a 'slave' to Aeron if the bond is consummated and Aeron's going nuts because his True Mate isn't following the script at all.

I hope you continue the whole conscious vs unconscious aspect of the Bond even when it is consummated where it pushes them into doing things (like maybe reality paralleling dreams ;) ) that force both to come to terms that the Bond is not what others think it is since it doesn't get rid of or automatically smooth over negative feelings. Ian certainly isn't in any mood to forgive Aeron for almost killing him while Aeron is certainly going to have a lot to chew over when things finally come to a head.

I am kind of wondering when Aeron is going to realize its Ian that is his mate. All this cluelessness is kind of surprising. I mean shouldn't Aeron know already?

WOOOHOOOO AN UPDATE!!!! So excited! I bet it's the family! Why didn't Erik smell the scent though?? Uncle Dan seemed really really furious!! What are they gonna tell Ian??!! The first part about the flowers was really funny! But I would think the flowers were sorta near-dead already if they were in the bouquet? So she can still talk to them? Would it be rather depressing?

I hope there's more to come, soon. Reading this chapter I felt this growing sense of anxiety and it was all abruptly severed, without a release, by the cliffhanger. I kept expecting something bad to happen and the chapter artfully increased this feeling of restlessness with the increasing pace of the story and descriptions of Ian's emotions up to the point when I almost wished for this unlucky circumstance to happen just to be rid of this agitation I was experiencing. I was so caught up in the story that for a while I felt lost when the chapter ended. Your writing style is mature and has a psychological element that manages to emotionally involve the reader in the storyline. Looking forward to your next update!

Starved for more Ian-Aeron interactions. Together they are explosive.

I was so very happy to see that you're continuing this. I love this story. It sticks with the reader in the most wonderful of ways. I find myself wondering what will happen with poor Ian and more than a little anxious to see when Aerion will find out just who he's been mentally fishing for.
