Great story ! And what a sweet revenge, go Ian ! *cackle* There are many elements to the plot that keep us on our toes like Ian's family, the familiar scent, etc. I still don't like Durain, he's a jerk and more than that, he's a scary jerk. I can accept that an alpha can gain sovereignty over people by defeating another alpha and he can exile them too. But favouritism ! tsk I dare not imagine what would happen should Ian try to leave.

I look forward to the next chapter !

I can't believe it's taken me such a long time to review this story! I'm sorry I've been so remiss, and I definitely want to express my heartfelt love of your plot, your characters, and the way you have crafted your story thus-far.
I was very disappointed to see on your dA account and here that people have been giving you a hard time. It's absurd, and I can't agree more with all of the supportive comments you've received...I read Inside Out because you mentioned that it was part of your inspiration (I know that a great many people have done the same, according to the comments I've seen), and while I can see how the two stories were formed from a similar concept, the truth is that the similarities end there. If beginning a story from a similar starting point as another author were outlawed, we'd run out of stories and books to read, and even most casual conversations would land people in prison.
Your story is absolutely wonderful, and you have given credit for inspiration where it is due; so your obligation is more than fulfilled. I truly hope that you will keep working on this story, and that anyone who may give you a hard time about it will be justly ignored.
I'm completely addicted to this story -- I love Ian; the battle between what he needs and has learned versus what he has always assumed and stubbornly clings to is endearing as it is frustrating (though if you made it easy on him, that wouldn't be any fun). Aeron is also proving himself to be very lovable, and I've enjoyed seeing the vulnerability and humanity that you've instilled in him beneath the narcissistic exterior. I haven't the slightest clue how you're going to finally bring the two main characters fully together, but I'm sure it will be more than worth the wait. And the element of intrigue and mystery that has been introduced in the last few chapters has given the plot an unexpected extra dimension that is excellent; your work is so much more than a simple (or even complex) love story.
Sorry for the long-winded diatribe. Please please please do stick with this story! It is amazing!
