Thank you soooooo much for coming back to this story! I love the characters -- especially Ian -- and the concept to such an incredible degree, and it saddened me to think that you weren't going to finish it. So, again, thank you thank you thank you! I love that you've never made this easy on your characters...the best stories are the ones in which the characters have to go through hell before they get their happiness. And the way that you are moving Ian and Aeron forward, now that the proverbial cat is out of the bag, is just amazing.
Seriously, these last two chapters and knowing that you are back have totally made my summer.
Please do continue. I love Ian's petulance, and the way that the bond is making him waver. And it's nice to see Aeron being a little bit nicer to him... I am hoping to see Aeron have a bit more understanding of what he put Ian through over the years, and possibly more comprehension of just how hard it is on Ian to be reduced so consistently to such a level of powerlessness. If you manage to force Aeron to get his head around all of that and to treat Ian as a partner rather than a possession, then they can fall into bed with all of the possible blessings I can think of and then some.

What I want is for Aeron to get down on his knees, kow-tow, and then pour Ian some tea as a honest apology. I really think he's a dick and bastard, because so far all he did was threaten Ian, make him miserable, and beat him almost to death. He made some half-hearted acknowledgement of 'sharing a rough past with Ian', but he never truly seriously acknowledged what wrongs he's done to Ian; mostly, he just brushed it aside as something unimportant. Ian has every right to hate him and refuse him (and I believe he's right that this isn't true love), because -fuck!- Aeron tried to KILL him. I really dislike Aeron; all he does is moan and bitch about how Ian had broken him, but that's nothing compared to him almost killing Ian. Aeron never truly showed any regret and yet he expects Ian to just forgive and forget? What an asshole! I truly feel sorry for Ian, and I actually kind of wish he gets rid of that unrepentant dick, Aeron.

When I saw that Unwated Mate I was ecstatic! Waiting for the moment that Aeron would realized that Lan is his mate, it's everything I hoped for and a little more. A wonderfully long chapter of up and down. Can't wait to the next chapter, I hope it will be as good as this one is. My favorite parts are always little naughty bits, Lan doesn't want to except that Aerons is his mate, I like the back and forth in this chater. Thank you for this amazing story!

I love this story so much its ridiculous. I especially love the main character and the way he thinks. A lot of slash fiction make one of the guys girl with little masculinity in him. But your characters read like to ordinary guys, who happen to be bounded together.

And werewolves. Yeah, can't forget that. But what I'm saying is they read like real male characters in a sticky situation, not a female's slash lover fanfiction. Love the story, please update as soon as you can.
