I really love this story. Ian's internal conflict is so well executed and even though Aeron is veiwed as the bad guy from Ian's pov he is such a good character. I'm seriously enjoying this I've been following for a year now, keep it up. Much love

Right now, I'm rooting for Ian to kill himself. I just don't see any other way in this zero sum game.
He can't be with a control freak like Aeron who is the one who controls the soul link, and can even control his body's needs. Furthermore, he's in that disgustingly manipulative Dustin's pack, and that creep us bent on controlling his entire life and cutting him off from all social contacts, including friends, family, and work. This is the very definition of physical and emotional abuse, but unlike in the normal world, Ian does not have the option to walk away or to flee, because of "Fate" or the Moon or whatever. In fact, Ian is already beginning to display classic signs of Stockholm syndrome, typical of victims who give excuses to the behavior of the abuser they stay with.
Unless Ian finds some magical way to cut off relations with both Aeron and Durain, which I frankly don't see him doing any time soon (because of "Fate" or the Moon), I think suicide really IS the better option in his case. It's better than becoming enslaved to creeps like Aeron and Durain, in any case.
