What a great start! I love Clay already. You did a good job of introducing characters and emphasizing their ages as well as their emotions without making then seem childish or flat. Please update soon!

Just wanted to leave a quick review. I really like this first chapter. I think you did an excellent job of portraying the youth of the characters without making them seem too childish, which can be really annoying. I'm curious to see where this goes! Overall, I think it's a good first chapter that introduces us to the main character's motivations and feelings without throwing it in our face. I know someone who lost his virginity to an older girl at age thirteen and it directly affected his life for a long time, even though it was consensual. He, like your main character, strives for someone just to love him for him.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next chapter! I can't wait to see where this goes.
