I am glad you did not make Clay "road kill". I actually had to go back an review past chapters to place Nathan. I feel bad for Nathan as he is so, so very confused about his own sexuality and all indicators point to having no potential support or understanding from his family. I feel bad for Clay because he is caught up in the middle of all Nathan's issues. Hopefully, this does not become another self-defeating impact on Clay. While it appears Clay had more platonic feelings for Nathan... it will still hurt to lose a developing friendship.

I will admit I clicked on this story on a whim... I was not expecting the main character to be so young. Poor, poor Clay... he just is so young and impressionable. I feel bad that he feels so "unwanted" at this time... I wonder if things had progressed like this when he was older if it would have had the same results. I guess it is a testament to your writing that I relate to him as a "real" person. I will wait for the next chapter...but I am sure it will be dramatic... I just hope our poor Clay does not die off from the upcoming accident. I am a real sucker for happy endings or at least not depressingly tragic ones.

I love this story. It's so sad. I can't even handle it. I'm so sad for clay and I want to love him :( it's so fucking sad but I love it. Makes me cry every time. Please update quickly!!!
