Wow! Thank you for sharing this story. I did enjoy it, despite so many heartbreaks. I did hope for a happy ending though, with Clay finally finding the right guy for him so I'm really hoping for a sequel? Maybe one that'll follow through Clay's highschool life or even college or even after college. I would really love to read about that.
By the way, I just want to say that part with Jonathan is really heartbreaking. Jonathan seems like a nice guy, he IS a nice guy. Its just unfortunate that he had that kind of condition. I mean, he most likely cant control his desires and he did suppressed his urges, well until Clay. So yeah, that was really heartbreaking to read and watch Jon lose everything. Though Clay did the right thing even if he isn't sure Jon could do that to his own son, he just coudnt take the risk of not doing anything.
This story was on my to be read list for sooo long and I'm just glad that I finally got to read this. :)

Ha, Clay better stay away from Chain-boy. lol And the boy/girl on the bus - he didn't seem so happy with the boarding school, but when he first recognized Clay's blazer he seemed excited. So that part I didn't understand.
I hope he has a great time at school and he embraces his independence. :)
Terrific story, Timecap! Maybe some time you can write a sequel so we can follow Clay through boarding school. =)

Oh my god! I loved this story!! I don't know how to describe how much I loved it and how sad it makes me that it is over. Would it be too much to ask for a sequel? XD I really want to know what happens to Clay after high school... But I'm glad that he was able to be strong enough to overcome his own sorrows and do the right thing. I feel he became a much bigger person throughout all of his troubles and would like to see him take no shit in the future XD Nevertheless, sequel or no sequel, I very much enjoyed this story throughout its entirety and hope my comments were some of the ones that made you happy because I'd love to give back to the author that gave me a story that I enjoyed so much. Thank you for writing and I hope to see more from you in the future. :D

Wow, timecap, I can't believe it's over! I saw the 'end' before I finished reading and I was like, "WHAT?????? The end? Already?" lol
Although I'm sorry this story is over (I thought it was extremely well-written, as all your stories are), I'm a little relieved I won't have to read about Clay's tears and feeling of aloneness (is that even a word?), anymore. I would literally walk away from the computer after reading the majority of the chapters and just cry b/c I felt so sad for Clay and all I wanted to do was to hug him and hold him. (not in the Jonathan-hug him and hold him-way, lol) No child should have to go through all the rejections and beatings that he went through, and all before he turned fourteen!
There was one redeeming thing that Jonathan did - he saved Clay's life when Clay was about to jump off the bridge. I still can't hate Jonathan; he has a problem and I hope he gets the help he needs in prison. Although he may have it really rough in there(don't the inmates, etc. really look down on someone who's in for being a pedo - that was my understanding), I hope he takes advantage of any help he can get. Maybe prison isn't the right place for him. Maybe he needs to be put into some sort of mental health facility where his problems can be addressed and he can be helped.
Lookit me talking like these are real people. lol You can see, timecap, that I REALLY get into your characters! Which reminds me: WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO UPDATE THE ANTONIO STORY?????????? SEE, IT'S BEEN SO DAMN LONG I FORGOT THE OTHER BOY'S NAME - MASON MAYBE? That was a big hint, hint, poke, poke!!!!!
Lastly, what kind of person would THINK that an author is like his/her characters or agrees with whatever they're into? That's just ignorant. People can be so stupid. I would NEVER think that an author who writes about things like pedophelia, murder, rape, etc. actually AGREES with these horrific crimes. That's just insanely stupid.
Needless to say, timecap, I CANNOT wait for your next story! I will admit, I get giddy every time I see a new story by you, or an update. You are one of my favorite authors on any site that I read. :)
