I like Colt and the fact he's trying to help London to live a more normal teenager's life is very impressive. He's a good parent role model figure for Lonny.
I am afraid to get back into reading this story too much in case you don't update again for months. I had to go back and read all the chapters to refresh what has happened to date.

Um, just a reminder of this note you posted at the beginning of chapter 1. (This was my Nanowrimo 2010 project. It is in need of heavy editing and is still missing an ending but I have the most of it already writen.)

What a relief that it finally seems like things are starting to take a better turn for Lonny but why am I worried so much? I keep waiting for the you know what to hit the fan again. Very pleased you updated again.

I think this move is a good thing for London even though he doesn't realize it yet. I am kind of pissed at Elliot and Colt for not being there for him during the rough times with his biological father. I hope he can find peace of sorts now and make new friends.
