Hey there. I noticed this story a while ago but only just decided to read it, and I'm glad I did. The characters are really sweet and Cannon's ability really doesn't sound like a gift, as his grandmother claimed. I hope the'll be able to help each other in overcoming their fears and curses. But I would be suspicious too if I were Taylor. Which lonely recluse would have so many different beverages to offer if he never had guests over? :P

You are aware there are a few typos so I won' t comment on that, but “Que sera sera” is Spanish, definitely not Latin. That kind of sprung in my eye.

Anyway, I hope you'll soon be able to update.

I don't know how I missed this chapter!

Thank God Cannon 'felt' Taylor's distress and found him in time to stop the rapist. That and Cannon was following Taylor anyway.

I really want to know how Cannon can 'feel' other people.

You know, I've seen the word empath in story summaries and never knew what it was. I thought it was one of these made up things like werewolves, fairies, elves, etc. lol So when I read about Cannon, I had to Google it thinking what the 'f' is he talking about? lol And lo and behold, it's a real word. lol And now I'm intrigued. There's a story on here that has to do with a guy who can 'feel' emotions of others, but they have to be dead. lol Not living. So I'm looking forward to reading more about Cannon and what this means for his 'relationship' with Taylor. :)

Of course if I was smart enough to read your reviewer responses in your forum section, I would have known all this already! lol

Is this a supernatural or paranormal story? What's with Cannon and his 'feeling othe people'?

Taylor seems like a really nice kid. I hope Cannon doesn't hurt him.
