Wow, what an emotional first chapter. I'm assuming Damien and Ivan don't live together b/c Ivan said Damien may need to get a hotel room, not they may need to get one. I'm assuming Ivan's going to stay with Damien, wherever he goes.
From other stories I've read about rape, you did a great job in portraying the victim and the victim's b/f. I have read that the victim feels guilty, like it's his/her fault that this happened, that if they had done something different, or worn something different, it wouldn't have happened. But we all know that rape isn't about sex; it'a about control and power. Damien's feeling ugly and disgusting and he assumes that Ivan feels disgusted with him. And of course Ivan is feeling nothing of the sort, so the miscommunication (even if it's silent), is upsetting. I am glad he tampered down his rage. Damien would have totally taken it the wrong way and thought Ivan was angry with him.
I'm glad they're on the same page now.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter. =)
