Holy cow can you bring the drama and the emotional pain. The last few chapters have been beautifully written, so much so that I couldn't bring myself to review the last one due to the new knowledge involving Mason. I felt the pressure in my chest and the tears forming in my eyes. To think he protected his brothers . . . well, we're getting the idea that no one survived the Evenford home unscathed. Each has different wounds and they all need healed. To use a phrase from one of my favorite movies, I hope Brenner goes medieval on that uncles' ass.

Thanks again for another welcome chapter. Oh, and also thank you for the image of high as a kite Keebler elves. I'm still chuckling over that image.

You've done it to us again with another one of your evil cliffhangers, shame on you, LOL. I just kidding.

First, I need to know where did Arturo go? He had a black duffel bag so he must be staying with Salvatore, right?

Second, I seriously loved how you referenced Jacob snickering like a little Keebler elf and then the one about his tinkling giggle that rivaled the Pillsbury dough boy! I laughed so hard, it was a riot.

Salvatore is certainly working his magic on poor Levi. I am glad my AC is still on because I was sweltering reading that part.

Jacob and David. I think Jacob taught David something very special that probably has changed him even more. Oh, and I also loved when Jacob heard screaming or thought he did. I wonder what he would think knowing it was Levi being so vocal almost as much as Jacob. I think David and Salvatore are going to have to start gagging them, LOL.

I want to dispose of Terry myself but am sure Brenner will do a much better job of it.

Holy crap, poor Mason!

Poor Mason! I feel so sorry for him and in the beginning I didn't even like him.....didn't like David either....I wasn't too fond of Levi either. The more I read, the more my opinion of the brothers change. It's funny how Jacob assumed that his brothers didn't like him but they all were protecting him in their own way.

Oh no! At least he didn't succeed. Hopefully David can help Mason and help heal Mason of his issues so the brothers can be a happy family again. Just a quick question, will we see Arturo in a relationship?

I was so happy and was smiling reading the first part of chapter but should have known something bad would happen before I got to the end of it. Yep. Lord, poor Mason, trying to kill himself now and just when David is having Terry taken care of, why? What happened? Did he find out that David knows about the abuse and became ashamed that he couldn't stop it? Please let him be alright!

Goodness!!! Was busy, so I missed a couple of chapter and come back to Sal's son, beatings, kidnappings, burnt warehouses..... remind me not to miss chapters in a row anymore.....although, no cliffy's. I am so anxious to meet David's grandfather and I was really excited that Levi and Jacob are meeting. I was waiting for this reunion to happen.

Poor Mason, trying to protect Jacob for all those years and suffering silently...
Glad that Levi finally found out about Maria and Slavator's son. Seems like all the bothers are slowly coming back together...
