Yay! I had read the original and I like this version better. Some editing can be done but other than that whens the next chapter Im rolling around going ape pooh to read it lol hope to see one soon. Woooohoooo!!! :D

I hope he left to give Jack hell. I have high expectations for that boy now. Can't wait for the next update.

So Jack turns out to be a wuss, I soooo want Isabelle turned into a slave...waits patiently for more...

What a cruel cliffhanger to leave us on! Poor baby's giving up on life. I think your characterization is amazing; I had such high hopes for Jack until he disappeared from Eros's life and became so neglectful. Still this last chapter was such a twist for me. I guess I was hoping he wouldn't truly be so heartless. Now I'm hoping to be surprised by another unexpected twist from Derek, because I feel sure that while he seems like an asshole now he'll be someone I can grow to like. I look forward to reading more!

I want to smuggle Eros out of there

I have such intense feelings of wanting to shoot Isabelle, something tells me she was behind his attack when he went for his walk, don't know why I think that though. Jack seriously needs to kick Isabelle to the gutter.

WOW! This chapter was so totally different from the old story!!! O.O Although I have to confess that I like this version better than the old one! I am glad that Derek doesn't have any part in a gang rape! I liked him in your previous version too! But oh God, how I want to know what gonna happens after Eros's fever when he was in taxi and back to the house? You never finished it! :( Hopefully this time I get my wish! :) Anyways, thanks for updating soon. xoxo

I honestly am not sure how to feel about this story. Some parts I really like others frustrate me to no end. Like Jack. I hate Jack sometimes. I mean don't get me wrong he's a nice guy and all but he's so oblivious to Eros' feelings and the fact that he's had past trauma it borders on callous and abusive at points. You write very very complex characters it seems. Not a single one of them seems to ever behave like you expect them too and while that's not necessarily bad it's also kind of difficult for me to get into. I want to know what happens with Eros but Jack? To me he seems just sort of in the background. He doesn't capture my interest much other than when I want to strangle him for listening to his girlfriend or ignoring Eros' discomfort.

Isabelle is also frustrating simply because I cannot honestly tell what goes through her brain ever. It's like she's almost bipolar. She flips from concerned to callous in seconds and it is constantly throwing me. I am curious about this blonde though and if he's going to be any more stable than the others... but considering that he's friends with the people who attacked Eros I can't help but think he's not going to be. Now all that being said... I don't dislike the story. I actually do wish there was a chapter nine so that I could see if the blonde guy is going to be bad to Eros or another protector. And I'd like to hopefully see Eros heal enough and get close enough to have a solid romantic relationship with someone. I just think that the story overall would benefit from a few characters that actually have a solid stance on Eros and the fact that he's a human being.

From the way you have the story written it's clear that slavery is accepted and perfectly legal but I find it odd that not a single person we've been introduced to has even had slightly mixed feelings about it at all. The only one not happy with Eros' position is Eros himself and that doesn't strike me as terribly realistic. I mean... not a single guy or girl finds slavery even somewhat morally questionable?

Anyway, this is getting kind of long so I'll sum it up real quick. I wish there was more of it. Though I wish Jack wasn't so stupid and there were a few more wholly straightforward characters. Maybe one that actually looks at Eros as more than a pet or a piece of trash?
