I like the story so far and the writing style. However, I do have to agree with another reviewer regarding the structure of the last chapter (now 2). A chapter needs a complete story arc - the introduction, the meeting and the resolution. This small arc is incomplete, it looks like chopped off at the end. I would recommend making the next chapter(s) complete entities, because the last chapter doesn't seem finished either.

Just started reading this and I really like it, I will add one critical piece though. This latest chapter was Mick getting home, explaining why he dressed the way he did and how he coped with his ability and then nothing. I was a little disappointed, hoping it would at least get to them meeting or something. Aside from that he has great personality and I found myself chuckling as he addressed the reader. Cheers.
