Yes, I became teary eyed towards the end. It's been a while since I've revisited the imp and the angel (I've re-read the cherub and the devil and the dragon and the damsel at least 3 times over), but it still hit right home. Love the halloween special.

I liked this story it was a bit quick at times but a long-in-depth story is not always needed. I was a little worried how far you were going to have Devil go with Angel but you pulled it out in the end. Super adorable and now I'm looking forward to the other birdcage stories.

Oh man, this was great. When I read the summary of one of the current stories of the series and how it was one of the many sequels, I was bit with curiosity so hard that I had to start from the very beginning, if I could. And I am not disappointed in the slightest. I'm really looking forward to building up to the wyvern and the knight/the hero and the villain! This one was simply lovely. Piper is indeed a badass. As much as I adored the imp and the angel, I was superbly piked by the devil and his cherub (and I peeked and see that it's the next story!! so excited). This is just an amazing start. I love series like this...they're not too long, so I can actually read them each in one fell swoop if I'm not otherwise occupied, they have intriguing characters that are endearing as they are sultry...I just love it. The glass is totally half full to me, I may have been "missing out", but I get to read each series un-interrupted! Ha ha ha! *scuttles away to read the devil and cherub*
