I didn't know there would be minor character death (Adrian) and it kind of upset me to find out he died. I thought story was going to focus on Jen taking care of her autistic brother and her new job and finding love - with Matt? I guess I misunderstood your summary and thought Matt would become part of Jen and Adrian's life, that they would become a family. So much for wishful thinking and now that Adrian's dead what had great potential just took a nose dive. Best of luck finishing this and no harm intended it's just my humble opinion.
