I've followed your story for a long time now. I love it. I love the writing style, the fluidity with which the story unfolds, and how human the characters are (even though sometimes they make me want to smack them in the head) (but that only tells what a great job you are doing in making them real). I just wanted to tell you that.
I'm not very good at leaving comments (as english is not my first language, and I'm shy, and when I finally do gather the courage to leave one, it usually ends up way longer than I intended, ugh). But your story, and you as an author, deserve to receive some of the few things that we, humble readers, can offer: our appreciation, and the strange and abstract (but no less real) kind of love that such a sincere story can evoke. So thank you. For writing it, and for sharing with us.

Wow. I just found this story and I LOVE it. It's one of my favorite stories on AFF ever. I love the relationship between Will and Ian, both past and present. The friends/family are a real hoot, too! The dialogue between them cracks me up. Especially the ones about kids and marriage. I am so impressed by the characters, the writing, the descriptions. Thank you for sharing your story. I cannot wait to read more.

Chapter 23: I'm finally catching up!
I'm so glad Will is finally coming to terms with how much Ian means to him.
The speech he, Esme, and the mayor gave was beautiful. It was a very emotional and heartfelt speech.
I also liked how you stuck in your name in the chapter! :)
Selah, you are an incredible person who has so much to give. Don't let the other teachers let you lose sight of that. Getting through to autistic children is very difficult, and I commend you for trying your hardest to help them.

It was awesome reading the prayer for Hanukkah. I'll be doing that in a little over a month. It's late this year (starts on Christmas Eve). I would probably recognize the song if I heard it. I don't speak or read Hebrew, so I have no idea what song it was. lol

I meant to add congratulations on adopting Alastor in my last review. He is extremely lucky to have found you, Selah. Not everyone would have such a big heart as to take in a dog in his condition. I know you miss Eliot, and you always will, but you saved Alastor's life, and Eliot would be glad you gave another dog a new chance at life. Now you can both be there for one another.
