The content of my previous review was pure speculation and was based on how the storyline was laid out in the first few chapters. I guess Verxis' actions were not completely unexpected - you developed his character really well in the beginning chapters hence the act of mercy/leniency isn't unexpected. :)
There is still much that needs to be unraveled in this story:
- Why Verxis was on earth; why was he tortured; how/why he trusted Belle so quickly after his release; how he escaped.
- The actions King Priskelt will take after the ball; will he fight to have Belle because she impressed him or will he retaliate because of being embarrassed? OR perhaps he might just take her away for revenge against Verxis?
- The possibility of Belle becoming pregnant; or is she pregnant already but does not know it? A male touching a female's belly is usually an indicator of something significant...
- Will Belle ever visit her parents? With time passing in the demon realm will she be much older before she has gained enough of Verxis's trust to be allowed to visit earth? If she becomes pregnant she would probably like her mother to be present for comfort/company...I reckon all females would like that.
- Will the demons every respect Belle as an equal and not just because she is Verxis's mate?
- You have made a great effort to develop the characters of each royalty so I believe they would make an appearance in later chapters - if so I would love to see how this develops

It seems that Verxis can already somewhat read her thoughts so he might very well be aware of what she is planning to do.
Besides even if he didn't know, her courage and loyalty to save her own race is a big part of the reason that he loves her so it would be strange if he should really punish or be angry with his mate. After all it is not him plans to set the humans free it is his mate so he would 'earn' no disrespect from his kingdom.

Don't know if you remember me from original fanfiction.net but I am TOTALLY happy that you continued this story I always love the details you put in every one you've written and hope to read more in the future.

Holy crap. I don't even read anything but slash, but this just sounds so interesting I can't really not read it. You're the first writer I strayed off of the gay and narrow with.

Loved it, all of it every scene. awesome job.
I had been wondering about the queen thing, I don't blame her for freaking out and not putting two and two together. It's not an easy thing to handle and in most demon cultures a human as royal is unheard of. So I think you did a very good job of explaining that one.
Please update soon, I love what you're doing. I went back up and re-read the chapter and had butterflies in my stomach in the end.

Very promising story I wish were finished!
I love how you're developing it and really want to know what will happen to the humans that were taken and how Verxis might get through more loopholes in their agreement.
That aside, I have to say for accuracy purposes:
1. The hymen is not inside but actually a flap of skin on the outer-rim of the vagina which is why it can be broken by exercise.
2. You cannot get something as big as a finger much less anything bigger into the womb because the cervix won't allow it. Exceptions only occur for women who have had vaginal births previously and with hours of effort to force contractions. Not to mention risk of infection and death are high if that is done.

so i was very excited that you updated, YAY for freedom of exams, I remember them quite well. second a very awesome chapter. I honestly loved it. I loved the fact that you see that connection being slowly rebuilt, i also loved the lessons. even though i knew they were mates just by the way she was being treated though badly by the others differently than a demon would treat any human I was really happy to see that scene where she finds out. You're doing a very good job at this. though I'm going to be hoenst there are a few things I would like to talk to you about but I'm going to e-mail that to you since if i don't it would take up too many pages on here. so please continue updating I love it and you are very capable of being an amazing writer, don't doubt yourself because i do love the story.
