I love underdog stories or stories where the main character is bullied and finds a way to be tempted with revenge. I hope she lands the guy of everyone’s dreams and I’m really interested in how you’ll introduce this demon to the story. I don’t have a complete feel for Ruby’s character, but the slow progression is working so far, considering it’s the first chapter. Off to the next one!

I’m glad that douche Dillon was stopped and I think it’s pretty great that you made summoning a revenge demon a simple recipe that required day to day ingredients. That was a good idea. This blue eyed demon is already hot and I’ve barely gotten a glimpse of him.

“You always know the footsteps of your bully. They echo in your dreams.” This was brilliantly constructed. I think if you get this story published this could be that one line on the cover of the book. I loved these two sentences and think they really showcase some great writing. Mixed with an even better idea and this story could really move along. When is Ruby gonna get it on with this blue eyed demon? I’m really hoping you develop some sort of emotional connection too. Great chapter!

“Simon” is sexy! I think bringing in her mother reiterated the fact that she’s a teenager. For some reason the interactions with Dillon just seemed like bullying that could happen anywhere, even though I know it was in the high school bathroom. Anyhow, it just helped emphasize the reality of the situation. I loved it when Simon mimicked Dillon’s actions, but it was clear she was way more into this time around than the last time. Her confusion was really sweet too.

I’m totally getting some domination vibes here. Simon needs to submit. Ruby needs to crack a whip! *Chuckles* Oh, the possibilities. This chapter was great and Ruby gaining some back bone was refreshing. She needed to do it and she did. Sorry for the short reviews, I’m to into this to give anything decent…
