How heart breaking for her. Will she ever find her place in the Butler family??? I love how her powers are growing.

CH 29:
Dear little Eowyn, I wish you didn’t see things in such basic definition “evil or righteous”, “right or wrong” but you are young and youth is sometimes a curse. If she wasn’t so worried about such things and worrying about what God thinks of her she would be so free, I could be so bold as to presume what God knows and does I think he would see into her soul and know she is a kind person who makes mistakes and stumbles like all creatures young and old. I haven’t decided if Josephine is a good or bad thing yet? Of course I reviewing as I review so that could have something to do with it. I hope that this second time returning to her home cabin and the addition of the insight Julian disposed onto Eowyn gives her peace. Whether she ends up with Court, or Gabe or maybe even someone we haven’t met yet she deserves to be happy. So much has come at her so quickly I think she needs to slow down and I also think she needs to leave Court be, he’s seemingly happy and let him be, perhaps she try to have a relationship with him that starts as friendship, they are too volatile for each other now; and her and Gabe I want to see friendship too, I fear that with Gabe, Eowyn is part of a bigger plan and the plan revolves around Court.
This isn’t one of my longest reviews and that does not reflect on the content I just still feel like I am absorbing everything that has transpired and I also get the feeling this chapter is only the beginning of something greater.

CH 30:
Julian and Eowyn scenes really are some of my favorite scenes but please don’t think I don’t love and enjoy her past scenes with Gabe and Court because I do but there is something different between Julian and Eowyn I don’t know if it’s because they are constantly dancing the line of daughter/father/lover, I can’t explain it but I always find it exciting in an electrical sort of way. How Eowyn was able to ask all the questions I myself was wonderful, especially about his children. I have such curiosity about a young boy that probably was much like Court but younger have fatherhood thrusted upon him and the second conception having to be hidden. Julian had has his children at the ages of 10-14; what you doing at that age? God you just feed my obsession with Court have him coming down stairs after is tryst with Belinda (who I thought I liked until her little display in front of Eowyn and Julian). Then for Eowyn to dip into his mind and hear is intimate thoughts, LOVED IT. Hearing Julian speak of Court I do believe he loves him and maybe not in a completely fatherly way since they are so close in age and that they’re fucking but he does love him and being given a glimpse into Courts past is always appreciated. These Butler’s are so into inbreeding but they don’t seem to be into loving and caring for their children?
After Julian and Eowyn spend a lovely day together it ends with a touch of seduction; Julian is Julian and will take any opportunity to group Eowyn but I think Eowyn opening her legs for him was her way of saying thank you (stay with me here) she could buy him a gift or she could give him something he really wants herself (?). Eowyn feels such guilt and anguish for being attracted to her brother and especially to her father but it’s not as if she grew up with these people as her family, she is like any 14 year old girl having lots of crushes and her hormones are going wild. You can’t tell your hormones who to be attracted to and who not to be.
You really are getting into this cliffhanger ending ain’t cha? Having Annabelle announcing the baby then Eowyn having to explain the details to Julian (which I’m sad we didn’t hear-that would have been an interesting storytelling). And what will become of this innocent baby that didn’t ask for any of this? Tune in tomorrow as the Butler Saga unfolds…

I missed like 2 chapters!! I feel confused but I also get it, but it just makes me want to see how it all unravels even more. You truly are driving me crazy with curiosity and anticipation! It's a hot mess with problems and posdibilites here and there. I'm hoping some big event will come that will affect her greatly. It'll just seem too weird if she settled down with one (or two haha) people and call it happily ever after. Please write more soon ill check this story everyday just so I won't miss anything :) have a great day

Aha, I was right! Sadly, I really wanted Eowyn to kick Alice's ass, I feel a sense of betrayal with her followed by hate. But Eowyn should probably learn to use her powers better, maybe Gabe could teach her? That would totally piss off Court, them spending all that time together! Since he's obviously being a jerk about his new girlfriend, knowing Eowyn has feelings for him, Eowyn should do the same. I ship Eowyn and Gabe! I'm really hating Court right now...
I feel like Gabe is trying to make himself seem like a bad guy by mentioning all the bad things he does, when deep down he's probably a good person? I don't know I just feel like he feels guilty for the death of Lily Anne so now he lives up to his reputation or something. Is there some sexual relation between Gabe and Caleb? It sure sounded like it. Hmm...
I'm really liking that Eowyn is trying to be bad. She spends all this time trying to be a good person in a bad place, and she always feels worse about what she does than anyone else. Like she knows its bad to be in love with Court, she knows her grandad and God are judging her, but Court just demands her to show her love for him, when she can't becuase she
feels like its wrong. Its like a demon tempting an angel to fall from grace. And now he's rubbing his new girlfriend in her face, ugh, sorry Im just really hating Court more than usual.
I'm hating him so much that I'm shipping Eowyn and Gabe. Which reminds me, ugh! That cliffhanger! Why must you do this to me, being the obsessive person that I am, I reread this chapter so many times I have memorized parts of it, Especially that ending! My gosh, I keep checking back more than usual to see if you've posted up that next chapter. Literally, I pick up my phone every hour or so and check, it's unhealthy. Anyway, sorry if my thoughts are all over the place, that just the way I am. :) Oh yeah, I like that Eowyn and James are talking, she doesn't have many friends, so that's good. :D well Im done for now!

Liking Gabriel even more, also I truly adore James.Loved how Gabriel called Julian out for being a hypocrite. If there was already a reason not to like Court, he even more worst then he was before. Please let Eden get over him. I liked her the inner conflict about giving to being a bad girl. I'm glad despite what she says hasn't stop thinking about how she was raised. And I loved how she went to the her only real home. Like she said where good, kind and simple real folks are. I love that we found out that it's not that she does want to forget her grandad it that she knows how hurt he would to see her change from the way raised her. And when she was sitting on her back porch and was talking to God and asking him question and waiting a response Eden thought he wasn't giving one because of her being bad, that was cute. But I loved how all of a sudden her cousin came and asked her how she was doing. But once again someone her told her not to speak to outsiders about the "blood". Eden really wanted tell cousin about her powers and everything she was going though because of the Butlers.I thing her cousin sense thinks wrong and I hope Eden about to her something and she able to help Eden. Another great chapter can't wait for the next one. Thanks again.

camp30 you are so wrong the way you keep me hanged on this addicted story from chapter to the recent chapters.I can't get enough of the Eden, Gabriel and everyone else,Thanks. Please stop doubting your writing ability.marebare1979, Thanks for your comment it made me smile. I just reread chapter 27 again too and I agree with you. It kinda seems like Gabriel might be in love with Court. And the reason why it seems like Gabriel goes after the same girl's Court has been with is because if he can't be with Court then he'll be with the girl's the girl's that have been with him. Yeah I think Caleb was talking to Gabriel not Eden. That's probably why he couldn't be with Eden because I think he likes her or he's just useing her to make Court jealous and mad. I see why he drives the girls mad with desire and want he doesn't want the girls but he's has that Butler thing that makes you want them. I hope this is wrong and he really does like and want to be with Eden.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better you prove me wrong. This chapter was so thoughtful, heartbreaking, scarey, ominous and sweet. Wow and that no good witch that started all this pain Josephine coming back was shocking. And don't let her listen to Josephine and her craziness. I wish Eden would get over Court.Court always says how cold she is,and maybe she is cold to him. But who wouldn't be he didn't want to get know or about her life before coming live with them. And he didn't he did horrible things to her and other people. But she was never like that until she came to live with Julian and him she had to deal with their unusual family. She was was raised around kind loving and simple people. Her grandad was a kind man who believed in God and raised Eden the same way and she happy now she questions if there is a God.Court's in love with as she so wisely thought the outline of her looking like Josephine and Lilly Anne and not with Eden and sadly her father has no good motives. And they are that he wants is to sleep with her. Does she really want Gabriel because she 1) truly likes him 2)there's about him she can't resist or is it just to make Court mad? I really hope she doesn't give into the darkness or the of the Butler and their evilness, sadness and pain. And please don't let the darkness consume her. She still has that goodness that she had before she came there weather she believes it or not. Thank So much for two awesome chapters in one day.

CH 28:
Some many things are swimming in my head, I don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing when I re-read a chapter, I think I know what’s going on then I read it again and I think something totally different?! The first time I read the line Gabriel said: “I hate that he had you first”, I wondered if he would lose interest with Eowyn not being there before Court (ala Lily Anne) but then on second read I thought what if he’s only interested in her because she’s been with Court look at Lily Ann or the waitress Serena and then the comment Caleb said about all girls being in love with them, what if it’s not they’re all in love with them but that Gabe peruses them because they’ve Court has been with them or been interested in them?
I loved the tit-a-tat Gabe and Eowyn had, Gabe was smarmy but also truthful and made Eowyn look at herself and her situation, she’s not dumb or bind but she certainly put up some blinders. As I read I thought the Gabe/Eowyn meal would be the highlight but then Eowyn descends into her darken bed room and who is waiting like a shadow in her room – Court. New favorite line (I have one in most chapters) “So you do care in that little Grinch heart… A Character that stole joy, just like you”; first I thought it was a great analogy, second her not understanding something that is so embedded into us is one more reminder how removed she was from our world. Eowyn thinks she’s bad and she may not be the “good girl” she once was but I don’t think she’s bad she trying to make her way thru this life and she’s stumbling, if she was that bad she wouldn’t have second thought in dating Gabriel and she would do it to spite Court. The ambiguous “It’s still you”, good touch. I like both Eowyn and Court but right now they are both too immature to be around each other they keep playing a game of I hurt you, you hurt me.
James is one of my favorite side characters he really seems to enjoy and look up to Eowyn. She really seemed to lose it as she spoke to Glenda trying not to give away all the family secrets, and then having menacing Josephine in her head. Then another cliffhanger ending with a scream none the less.
