This is a creepy fic.

Old magic and incest all rolled into one. The plot is something else but I feel bad that our Heroine is so cold and has so many personality quirks. She fell into incest lust so easily or maybe she didn't have a choice?

Still reading; around 20 ish or so. Don't drop this please.

I'm so glad she wasn't hurt. I really want her to get more confidence in herself and not compare herself to other members of the family. Feels like she's always comparing her beauty to other people and don't feel beautiful enough. Thanks for the awesome two chapters. It seems happy and mellow for now but I'm curious in what you have in store next.

CH 33:
I can’t even go away for a weekend without missing a shiton of chapters! I have so much to catch up on! Are your fingers sore yet from all the typing?

How could Court love these despicable people family or not, then I remembered it’s all he’s known. He didn’t grow up in a loving family where you’re taught to love and respect others instead he was taught to be ware and conquer each other.

Court and Eowyn being a bona fide couple! It’s seemly like a long time coming but in actuality they’ve only known each other a few months but it certainly been interesting. Eowyn started to annoy me with her questioning of Court it made me wonder if she really does want to ruin things between them, she knows he’s a loose cannon. But then I had a second thought why should she have to sensor herself and tip toe on eggshells, couples talk about issues and ask each other questions it how they get to know each other and to Courts credit he didn’t lash out or even runaway he was unhappy but he answered her questions.

I was pleased he mentioned his dearly departed daughter, I appreciated him still morning, I’m not expecting him to be crying and wailing every chapter but it was a nice reminder that he hasn’t forgotten his child.
For some reason I want to believe Rachelle but I don’t know why? Tristan being mental unstable I can’t say is a shock, it seems more Butler’s than not have mental disorders. Court and Julian vow together to protect Eowyn but I suspect she is more than capable of taking care of herself but the comfort and love they showed her I’ sure was welcomed and appreciated.

Now what to say about the vow it’s self hmm… If the vow is taken by all Tristan can’t hurt Eowyn? Or does her not being entirely full blooded give him a loop hole? I’m sure my questions will be answered and then more will appear in its place. Another goodie, I loved envisioning Court and Eowyn being young, happy and free.

CH 34:

And the father is… Tristan; I know Tristan said it doesn’t matter if Court is his son or nephew but it makes me wonder is this one of the reasons he has had such a hard on for Eowyn he didn’t want HIS son to be sullied by her half-breed blood? Of course when you’re dealing with a mad man reason doesn’t matter very much; now does it. I think Eowyn is right Julian would be devastated if he found out Court wasn’t his son but I am unsure how it would affect Court, I suspect he would be troubled about the revelation and not nearly as thrilled that Eowyn and him are not siblings.

It was sweet how Julian was with Tristan it made me question if Tristan was right if he killed Eowyn Julian would forgive him and get over it, I suspect it might be true, horrible but true. Oh and by the way Miriam was a bit of a skank wasn’t she and definitely not fit to be a mother, she never loved Court and gave away her daughter Lily Anne but that seems to be a family trait, pro-create but don’t love and care for the offspring.

Eowyn knowing Courts true parentage is a no win situation, if she tells Court he’ll hate her for telling him and of course hate not being his sister but then if she keeps quiet it’s going to come out (they always do) and it will tear them apart. During Tristan’s will he be off sound mind enough to not confess to Julian or anyone else who will listen? See I told you as soon as you answer one question another will pop up in its place. Oh and one more thing, I hope Court is just taking some time to digest Gabe’s feelings for him, I know a lot has transpired between these two boys but they are family and Gabe needs a friend.

Hopeless is not a word I would ever use to describe this story. And as for your muse he has kept the little secret of Court and Tristan in his back pocket for a while. I think you are right trust your muse, maybe everything isn’t perfect all the time but then again what it. I’ve always been entertained and you’ve always left me wanting more, what more can a reader ask for in an author?

I say go with your muse. If he leads you down the wrong path, or takes too many detours or side streets, you can always go back and re-edit the story/chapter/whichever part you think needs work. Don't judge the work too harshly til its finished, then do a read-through and see where the flow falters, look for inconsistencies, all that jazz. Don't sweat the grammar too badly til this stage, either. Just let the story come, worry about tweaking the imperfections after.

She is truly one of them. I love it. You have a wonderful mind. The depts go beond what I could ever dream.

What is really like to see and wonder if when they're all older. Like court said they're both still kids. Will you continue that far? Thanks for a great chapter. I love how you get the confusion part of the "child" her down so well.

I love it. They have found comfort in each other. She is now part of their family.
