That fight was exciting to see! It'd be nice if their powers during the fight were explained a bit more, but it's nice to see them again. I'm sad to hear that the story is coming to an end soon. I'd be really nice if there was a sequel or something when she is all grown up and to see more of the Butler family's history. Nevertheless, I love your writing an your sense of humor. I still think that this piece is a success because its just so darn interesting and extremely hard to put down. I'll be looking coward to your next chapter and your future pieces of literature after Touching Eden. Have a great day! :)

So, I'd been seeing this story posted for some time. I never read it because I figured 'this is not something I would like.' But last night I decided to give it a try and clicked the link. 39 chapters (yes, I read them all in one night/morning) I'm drooling over how wonderful this story is! The characters really pull you in and have you anticipating their next step! I don't tend to write reviews, so I'll just finish what I'm thinking. I love Courts dominance/protection personality. I feel a passion in him and it thrills me! I also Can Not wait for Jullian and E to move to that last step and show their love for each other. He has hinted several times he loves/wants her and I feel she is ready to complete their bond. Hell, a future father/daughter/son scene would be amazing. But you are the author and I will keep reading. Keep up the amazing work!!

CH 37
Gabriel had such a great an honest line : ”I didn’t see that coming”, referring to finding Court and Julian in bed together, I’m not exactly sure how much of a relationship Gabe & Court had, I remember Court saying something like “I thought he was over that”, but was that a crush or did they once have an encounter? Either way Gabe I think ids more devastated about Court fucking Julian than the slew of nameless girls; Gabe could always fuck Court via the girls and they weren’t really competition in his eyes but another man is a totally different ball park.
In a perfect world I think Court would be very satisfied with fucking Gabe and Eowyn they both feed his mind, body and soul in different ways but Eowyn was right they would never be satisfied.
I wish she didn’t laugh when Court made or tried to make the salad; I know it was a natural reaction to something so obvious him having trouble with but it would be like him laughing at her for not having proper edict with the incest clan. I couldn’t help but smile thru them eating lunch, she was such a love struck puppy in the best possible way, its nice when she has a chance to be a fourteen year old girl.
OMFG, Eowyn doesn’t talk often but when she does boy is it something! Asking Court if he is gay then the same question about Julian fan-FUCKING-tastic!!!!
Ooowww! Crazy-Mountain-Butler’s this has got to be good! Every time Julian takes the limo and reminds me he cannot drive and it’s just one of those little things that sticks in my mind, he so powerful but never learnt to drive, maybe I just find little amusements in him? I was surprised at Julian’s outward distain and snobbishness I expect it from Court but not Julian (?), why did I love the fact Julian blew smoke into his own “son’s” face?
Okay I gotta go now over 330 words is a bit obsessive plus I have 2 more chapters to read *squeal*!

CH 38
Oh God that this line hurt me so much and made my heart tighten: “I’m tired of having no friends. I’m tired of being different then everyone. I’m lonely.” it feels so raw so personal it’s more than reading someone’s diary it’s reading someone’s soul. I don’t know how she will blend because she was a backwoods girl herself so they have that in common and she is a Butler another common but will they be as prejudice as the other Butler’s she has been subjected too? I know when I keep reading I’ll probably get the answers but I like to get my thoughts down as they come.
I think I love the Mountain Butler’s, they were so welcoming to all of them but it meant the most to Eowyn who is so starved to be a part of a family again. Uncomfortable sounds like an understatement with Court he seems like he wants to vomit at the sight of them all. When Julian corrected Court’s manners (or lack thereof) I half expected him to get a slap upside the head. I love Court but I also loved how awkward he feels amongst these Butler’s, and I can’t get a grasp on whether Shadow was flirting with Eowyn or being friendly; either way Court was beyond pissed but he also got over himself and took a swim in the “bacteria filled water”. Okay I changed my thought he didn’t get over himself he was participating in a pissing contest.
WTF where did that come from, what an inventive way to have the secret of Court’s paternity come out! Only you could create a world where saying: “You’re my son and lover and this changes nothing,” and find it comforting, not only for the characters but for the audience as well. I'm glad Julian didn't take Tristan at his words and yes Court lashed out at Eowyn but he has lashed out far worse it was sweet how they literally and figuratively surrounded Court and loved him.
And I think Court is wrong I don’t think they will look back at that time and cry, they will look back and feel it was another bump in life that made them closer.

This was one of those chapters I had to read the entire thing before I typed one word, I am unsure why. I was plenty interested in the reading especially the time between Shadow and Eowyn in many ways they seem like they would be perfect for each other best friends and possibly lovers. Shadow’s almost disgust at the inbreeding was surprising. Most people think of the educated as being above incest and think that’s all mountain people are yet here it’s the complete opposite.
Shadow being so blunt and accusing Eowyn and Court of fucking was jarring it was something I would expect from Court but I thought Shadow would be more polite (I guess) but then again when something is a part of your everyday life it may not seem rude to bring up?
I can’t say Court got his ass handed to him by Shadow but he certainly wasn’t the big swinging dick between the two and having to almost be rescued by his sister/girlfriend must have been embarrassing and humbling. And when Court said ‘sister” I half believed it was to shove it in Shadows face not so much that he whole heartedly believed it.
Hearing Eowyn praising herself about her knew knowledge nit just in school work but of modern slang was almost sad she so want someone to approve and praise her like she once had when she hunted and gathered to feed her & her granddad. I think this trip accomplished Eowyn realizing she has very little Alllore left and is mostly Butler but she all saw all Butler’s are not the same and I think that will give her some comfort.
As for your editing I certainly didn’t see anything that stood out that was wrong, whether you meant grammar or content. I hope to read you soon but no matter when it is or what it is I am always there to read!

I've never read a story like this. It's one of a kind, at least to me. I read the chapters in a few hours. It's great! I like that Eowyn writes in her diary. I don't particularly trust writing in one, I fear someone may read it, but I like Eowyn's explanation for why she writes.

I'm glad Court didn't flip out and go crazy as I feared. Plus, I always find his jelousy cute and I hope that doesn't change after finding out Eowyn not his sister. I'm really excited about Eowyn's hunting with Shadow in the morning. I'm sure you'll make it an interesting scene. Thank you for you update! It always makes me all giddy with excitement. I just can't wait for Eowyn to be older!

I'm glad you're back writing again! You always keep me on my toes when reading this! It's so exciting! I'm looking forward to the trip they will have. It's be nice if she can show off her skills in hunting and whatnot I'm the mountains :) Hope you have a great day cause you sure made mine!
