Ashamed to say how hot this chapter was but WOWZA! Dang it you are a great writer to extract all the emotions you do, not only in one story or one chapter but in one PARAGRAPH!!! Soo hate the Arab! What a total CREEP! Briar being related to Himself is weird to think about. Why the hell would he do that to someone he was related to unless Briar's mom was someone special to him (eww that is horrid to think about!) and he wants revenge for her death?? Chapter 12
I told myself I would wait till lunch break to review but you know I have no will power when it comes to you! The conflict within Cyr is heart pounding, we all know he wants to fuck Briar but this way? I was caught off guard by the sheer passion and dare I say love Cyr expresses to Briar trying to keep him safe through and act he so desperately needs but not like this. The Arabian Prince is one sick puppy, I can’t even begin to express how repulsive he is. How the hell am I supposed to critique a sex scene like that!?! There is so much going on above and below the surface. Even though Cyr and Briar both very much enjoyed the coupling I almost feel like they were both raped, but they did their best to escape the reality they were forced into. I would say that you ruined by having the Prince interrupt with his own cock but it somehow made them closer still as if they were the only two people in the world.
And the revelations keep coming! I too thought for a moment Cyr was the one related to Himself but maybe not so… Oh and the Prince throwing Cyr’s own whore past in his face. Damn this guy gets more interesting with each sentence!

Damn it all to hell I did it again I get all jazzed up reading; shit escapes me and I forget to say everything I want! I'm going to have to review and sit an marinate before I hit the "review" button. This isn't much of a review but I just want to add that as heinous as the situation was the sex was fuck-ton hot! How Cyr took care of him during the sex was tender yet Cyr was passionate in his fucking. How do you balance all theses feelings and emotions? Cyr quotes the name sake of this story, I always assumed "But a Shadow" meant how Briar felt about himself but now it makes me think that Cyr things of Briar as what he once was. Savage, Cyr lost all humanity as he raped Briar. I expected Briar to feel Cyr's wrath and for Cyr to fuck him again but I see these two things coming together. What made this rape cruel was the feeling Briar has developed for Cyr and it was almost like Cyr was raping his feeling out of Briar. Nice job combining the genius' of Timbuk 3 & Cory Hart: "the future is so damn bright I need to wear sunglass at night." Did you actually trick me into feeling bad for Giraurd????
