So I became addicted to this story about 7 chapters ago. Give me more!! I love Cyr and Briar is adorable. I want more!

Chapter 16
How the hell am I supposed to review "Him"?!?!
Even when you described how he looked he still seemed like a mystery. Is it bad that when he asked Cyr “Have you been taking good care of him?”, I instantly wanted Briar to stand of and scream no and explain what he's been put thru. But on the flip side I do love Cyr but in some part of me I want him to be the one to suffer under someones wrath instead of Briar. I felt the bit in Himself's voice whe he said "Indeed he does". What is the relationship between Cyr and Himself, I understand how everyoone is enamoured by Himself but what kind of love does he hold for Cyr and how did they meet (I don't really expect and answer-and it's kinda better that way the unknow is so desirable).
Wait are you agian making me feel something beside disgust for Giraud (you sorecer you). The last paragraph was simply beautiful the image of such a hard man and broken boy feeding the pigeons along with Briar's thought were... perfect.
Now I have to get back to Himself everything about him is attractive not just his looks but how he pulls people in like a gravitational pull, he loves Briar but how and why? The jealous and fall out from the time between Briar and Himself will be severe. I almost feel any progress Cyr and Briar made is gone. The feeling of hate/jealous Cyr now feels is scary as well as the flip side on how Briar feels witnessing the love Cyr has for Himself.
Okay I need to stop, I'm rambling now. Thanks for this glimpse at this mysterious enigma, I welcome another chapter to devour him.

Crushing disappointment!!!??? Bite your tongue!!! OMG it was great, really. Wow I was as much in awe as Briar. My eyes were stuck to the screen. I love how you've mentioned Anne Rice as well, I have read her and she is great BUT she over exaggerates much in her work except for the french quarter which is as bewitching as she says and you capture it every bit as magically as she does. I can see why Briar would be jealous. His obsession with Cyr is my own and I wanted to pout like a kid when he seemed so in love with himself! WONDERFULLY written again and I need more. Need more like a damn drug!!! Thanks soooo much for the fast update!!!

Can't even breathe! OMG what a chapter! I am literally breathless! Amazing! Himself is a mystery that I can't wait to unfold by reading this. That Prince needs a bullet in his head!! I'm just can't imagine someone trying to do that to Briar! So glad he didn't do it! His morals shine through even if he chooses not to see them. He thinks he's so bad but just the things like not stealing let alone not raping the kid make him so surprising. Of any of them his humanity should be stripped from him but it wasn't. His protective side towards his friends and even Cyr just make me love him more! I can't get over this story! It brings sooo many emotions out! You are so truly gifted! Thank you for the update and I think I need the break as much as you for the day! MUCH MUCH love!!!

Fantastic story. I really feel for both characters and can't wait to understand Cyr better. And where you are going with this. I love the dangerous aspect of Cyr. I think a lot of writers are too scared to go there. well done.

Chapter 14
WTF! Some may see this chapter is nothing more than just a chapter of sex but it was so much more; it gave Briar back a piece of himself that had been missing since he had been taken away by Cyr. This chapter was a welcome break I think we all needed in the Briar saga; getting to know more about Briar’s former life and learning Briar’s desire for being a top but not getting to utilize his skill was good. It does make me hunger to know even more about his life B.C. (Before Cyr), how this young man could retain any sort of humanity is a true test of the soul. Oh and how can I forget a shout out to Cyr, dare I say he was jealous of Briar’s lust for Guillermo. Oh and I am so calling bullshit in Cyr saying “just business”, he wanted to watch Briar fuck Guillermo for sure. Did I forget about my critique on the sex scene? Hell’s No! Just saving the best for last; I have to address the line that started it all: “let’s get to fucking I have another killing to do,” that line was so fitting. It should be terrifying to hear but it’s not at all. Sex and death are not that far apart after all what do the French call an orgasm “la petit mort” meaning little death. Thanks for finally letting us in on what Briar’s been hiding in his pants and the appreciation it received, Briar being on top and the dominant was nothing less than brilliant. Briar poured his anger and his lust into fucking this man. One would think I would be repulsed by Briar’s McGyver lube but it was somehow hot? Do me (and the rest of your readers) a favor try to make this a standing date even if we don’t always witness the copulation just know Briar is getting sex he wants and how he wants it is so empowering! Tell me am I the only one who believes the fucking was also a middle finger to Cyr who Briar knew was watching.
Alright I have to go and take a cold shower and make myself a promise to stop reading this chapter (I’ve only read it three times, that’s not bad right?)
