Evil cliff hanger, rooting for Briar all the way.

LOVE it!!!!! I love dark fic more than any other and this is RIGHT up my alley! VERY well written and the detail is amazing! I love the characters, love the New Orleans backdrop and love the complexity. CANNOT wait for more!! Thank you for a truly great read. WOW!!!!!!!

This boy must be something special for all this trouble. I myself was curious about Briar's sexual preference and the line about him wondering if he'd be straight was insightful and tragic. So this Cyr is not working alone and Briar was recommended by another client...hmmm, very interesting. Oh Cyr's comment on Briar's name, it is a perfect name for a troubled young man. Not to be hung up on Briar's sexual history but has he been with woman? When he mention girls like him and he is confused himself it made me wonder? You don't have to answer me just thinking out loud. Can't wait to read chapter 4!

The chapter ended with me clinging to edge of my seat...wow...can't believe he reached for the gun!!! Can't wait to read the next chapter!
