So we finally meet Paul! Really curious about his 'smell' - reminds me of Abraham and how Alex was so drawn to him... Do Abraham and Paul have something the other Alphas don't know about?! After hearing Paul's speech to Alex, I can understand why Paul wants Abraham.
Blane and Alex were so cute! I hope Blane isn't mad at Alex (though he'll prob blame Paul (and rightly so!)). So Jamie wasn't jumping into Paul's lap because he was already trained (remember you saying that Jamie couldn't be broken because he didn't have the genes...)?
I loved this chapter! Can't wait for the next!

I like this story, even though I find it difficult to follow. I got to give you credit, you did your research and did a good job planning the plot....

Oh poor Alex! Tried to follow Blane and wasn't allowed to do so. And of course Paul made use of the opportunity to sneak in. But I'm pleasently surprised by his personality. And Alex again hold up well, even before Paul took out the vinegar diffusor.Interesting dialogue between both of them...And I can't wait to read what Paul and Blane will talk about.
I loved the hilarious little detail with the Alpha sitcom. Haha! I'd like to watch this!
Just one thing...the murdered boy, wasn't his name Tony? But anyway...this was a great chapter again!

Geez, I hope it doesn't escalate into a full-blown war!
I love that you paint your characters (and the society) as being complex - no one's black and white. It's not like the alphas are the victims, exactly (after all, the man Abraham killed probably still had a family/ friends and left people grieving) but at the same time they've been so poorly understood/ represented and treated like sub-humans (remembering the 'mercy killings', and Abraham was a child solider...). I'm sure there are probably 'vigilantes' fighting for the rights and freedom of a family member/sibling who has the genetic markers condemning them to a 'life of slavery'(in their opinion, anyway). Sort of wonder what this will all lead to in the end...
Every time i reread this story, so many ideas pop into my head (that's how much I enjoy it!)

Wow, way to go, Alex! First public appearance and already you show them better not to mess with you! Charisma and courage - there's a reason why the main character reminds me so much of Alexander.
I'd vote for an electricity embargo - fast and effective.
Hopefully Paul isn't pissed off - Blane didn't seem to be very happy after the phone call. I wonder if Paul wants Alex for himself after what happened.
But I bet Esra applauded to Alex and Blane. *grins viciously* Anyway, I did.
Poor Tony.I saw once a picture of a young gay who was brutally beaten and tortured to death by homophobes. It was really heartbreaking. And when I was a child, my own grand-uncle was more than once beaten by small town morons because he was homosexual - and his family let him end in alcoholism.
Homophobes should be burned alive!

I have been totally confused for most of this story and yet I cant put it down, and now I keep thinking about the word squibbles and how adorable it is. Very weird. I cant wait to read what comes next. Also what exactly is breaking? It sounds bad but I get the impression that its a necessary evil.

Ch 26 again: Oh, after rereading I've got a suspicion why Drake sniffed loudly when he was in the hallway.LOL! Better safe than sorry! Although I wonder why parfumes or strong smelling esseces aren't more popular among the Alphas.
And, back to a former chapter,who did complain about your autor's notes? That's a very rude behaviour, especially as I (and I'm sure many other readers) enjoy them greatly.
