I'm on ch 10 and I love the story. I stumble a bit over the new pronouns, but I think I'm getting more used to them. The world is very interesting. I'm enjoying it very much and wanted to tell you so.

Your writing style is difficult to read. I like the overall plot of the story but your writing is confusing and irritating. The use of your own pronouns only furthers my headache.

Lovely story as always. A few grammatical/spelling errors in some chapters, but overall very well done.

With an ending like that I certainly hope for a sequel, given that this is labeled as complete.

Best Wishes and Good Luck

I have mixed feelings about this story, and here's why:

Some conversations were confusing and the logic behind certain situations wasn't clear. I think it's because you were writing from the perspective of someone who fully understood the social dynamics and background events taking place, and assumed that your readers would have the same level of intelligence to pick up on cues that I obviously missed :) Towards the end of the story it felt like I was walking in mid-conversation, a clueless bystander.

That said, none of the characters had clear characters, if that makes any sense. All of the main characters acted randomly, as if they couldn't decide who they were or how they should react to situations. The only character that was consistent was Quin. It felt like characters were acting any which way to get the plot moving, nothing more. Also, some characters were introduced as if they would play a bigger role and then ended up only making a single, unnecessary appearance, like Troy and his information-stealing alpha.

Despite feeling lost and a little annoyed because no one acted consistently, I finished all 50 chapters because 1) the story's first 3-4 chapters were excellent, and 2) the story's premise was very interesting. I think what made it flop was that too much was going on with too little attention being paid to character dynamics and smooth flow of events and ideas.

And that's it from me. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed most of it.

I can't believe that HusbandWife is complete! OMG! The long journey doesn't feel like it has ended at all. It feels like there's going to be a second part to this whether you do or do not write one. You left me with an adrenaline rush of a possible war. I wanted to see how that will play out.
