I was just thinking about this hella awesome story and wondering how you're doing. :)
I hope you're writing like crazy b/c it's been like six months since you last updated. :(

Great chapter Connor! I love the banter between Kate and Benedict. They have such a wonderful relationship. I think Edward would have turned out a lot more human if he had lived there instead of with his parents. He would have been better off with Kate as his mom, money or no money, title or no title.
I actually felt bad for Alistar in this chapter, until I realized him and his sister are plotting something agains Edward and/or his family. :)
Looking forward to the next update - no matter how long it takes. I know you like to have chapters handy to post whenever, so take your time Connor; you are a masterful storyteller. :)

Connor, Connor, Connor! I had two wonderfully awesome chapters to catch up to! So instead of watching my kid wrestle, I was reading about how that slimebag Anthony KNEW ALL ALONG WHO CEDRIC WAS!!!! And still what he did to him???? He is unbelievable! And not in a good way.
Still so sad that Edward and Michael aren't together. I hope Edward realizes that Alistar is using him.

Enjoyed reading the way in which the two brothers talked. It was almost as if this discussion was saner and without issue (though the subject matter was anything but), until Benedict nearly overstepped the boundaries. Good that Benedict can see through Edward and his feelings for Michael, allowing him to walk into his own admissions over salient points, which prove his need to keep someone he truly cares about away.
That confrontation with Anthony was chilling. Not the insane need to have Benedict as an heir, but because he hates Edward so deeply. Maybe, as he actually seemed to care for Kate, he believes that Benedict is his true son -possibly. And the ‘French’ woman? Could it have possibly been Yvonne on the other end of the phone? Interesting thought.
Tense moment with Michael and Edward and that nonchalant mention of his date, was, I believe a declaration and demonstration to Edward that he had moved on.
All three seem to be getting on well, and it was very entertaining when they were discussing (or arguing)‘bad literature'. How can the words ‘twitching assholes’ be anything but poetry! :-) However, still think that Benedict has unfulfilled needs toward Edward. Was it their similar ability all those years ago, that still ignites something in Benedict now, and indeed Edward.
Finally Alastair calling for a date. Well if Michael has moved on…

I am a first time reader and just found this story but am going back to read the first two because I am a little confused. I should have done that first, LOL. I think you are a very gifted and talented writer. I will watch for updates on this story and be sure to read the other two to get acquainted with all the characters and what's going on.

Good to know that Liz is finally knowledgeable about what has been going on, but believe she will hold this (being kept in the dark) against Edward at some point, but for now will be playing nice, to prove worthy of knowing more of what is going on, possibly proving a good ally.
Great to have Karen back in this chapter! She is still making sure that Michael knows she is there for him no matter the circumstance, even though he may bitch all the time about it.
Sad to read about Anthony’s full knowledge of Cedric from birth to date. His continued communication with Cedric’s adoptive father throughout the abuse, and now the kidnapping of Benedict (this was not a smart move).
Poor Michael getting a call from Edward after a ‘stress releasing’ session with Stan –you are naughty!
