Ok, I can totally see where Chris is coming from, getting all jealous and shit. I would too, but I would never leave! I would have rang the bell and gotten to the bottom of it. And I certainly would NEVER call up some guy who wasn't reall important to me just out of spite. Hmpf, so there. I've said my peace. lol

Ok, on to the next chapter where Chris better apologize profusely for being a d-bag. ;)

Ah shit Jesse, that's the worst thing you could have done; mixing business with pleasure. Especially since you're just using Devin like Chris is using Newton. And hopefully Jesse won't scream out Chris' name anytime soon! lol And what happens if their relationship sours; will Devin pull the account? That'll really piss Chris off.

Chris is such an ass; especially flaunting this Newton guy right in his face. And he did this without even confronting Jesse.

Ugh, too much angst. lol

Another awesome chapter babette! :) I was shocked Luke came out to his folks! Not surprised they sent him to a 'straight camp'; what a waste of time and money. But good thing: Luke found a b/f there! lol So, a lotta good THAT place was! Great rehabilitation! lol

I don't know how Luke and Kyle are going to be able to stay there; won't people be after them? Especially Luke?

Hey Babette, so your A/N at the bottom of chapter eight wondered where the kid's ages were mentioned. Almost halfway through chapter one, when Jesse goes down to dinner that first night at the Collins' he meets Allie. She introduces herself and says, "We are in the same grade, so if you need......", which gave me the impression that she and Jesse were the same age and Luke was older.

So...chapter eight. Wow, Chris is really something else. He is being so generous to Jesse.

I actually felt bad for Luke; you can tell he's going through hell. I'm so curious to know if his parents have caught on to why he's so upset that Jesse left. And Jesse was pretty nice to him; telling him that his dad has a lot to do with his attitude.

Ok, on to chapter nine. :)

Ah, what a great chapter Babette!

Jesse was so awesome at work and now Chris is gonna pay him back for getting that three million dollar contract. Just kidding, but Chris should watch it; he's already in love with Jesse; he doesn't want to scare Jesse off.

Sorta sorry to see it go here but realistic and consistent . Both with reality and the barely suppressed rage mentioned before. Nicely written.

Oh man, I have so many chapters to catch up with! :)

I'm glad Allie figured Luke out. I'm a bit confused though: I didn't realize they were twins. How could they be twins if Luke is a year older? I thought Allie was Jesse's age and in his class grade and Luke was one grade higher?

So yeah, this chapter (5) definitely had a twist to it. Seems the apple may not fall far from the tree regarding Luke and his father. I understand how Luke could start acting like him; after all, his father's behavior is all he knows, right? I wonder if that's the way he treated Hannah; possessive and controlling? And she liked that?! lol

So we get a glimpse at Lucy's fate; seems her life isn't so rosy and sunshiney, (I know that's not a word, lol), after all. So Ted physically abuses her when he's not happy with his children? Or maybe she disagreed with him? What a mess. And sadly, this is all Luke knows. I pray he isn't ALL like his father. I think if he laid a hand on Jesse, Jesse would be out the door faster than you can say Chris Berkley. lol

And Chris, he's so nice and intuitive. I can see Jesse calling him in the future; especially since he has a new cell phone. Oh, but wait, I'm sure Luke will be monitoring it and checking all of Jesse's calls. Uh oh.

Ok, onto chaper six! :)

I think Ted's control over Luke, (being punished for breaking up with a girl? Seriously? That's fucked up.), wound Luke up so tight he's like a rubberband and now that he's with Jesse, that rubberband is stretching more and more whenever he sees/hears Jesse's talking with a guy. He was really going to hit Jesse in the restaurant bathroom. That's not acceptable.

Now poor Jesse is left homeless. Luke's gonna freak out and of course I don't see him just letting it go; he's gonna go after Jesse; he's not going to let him get away from him that easily.

Awesome updates babette! I'm on pins and needles waiting for the next one. :)
