I wonder what Shasta's mission in this story will be. I the Angel's spirit is strong, why do they still consider themselves not powerul enough? Can't they find anything to set outweigh humans' abilities and knowledge? Why did they lose to people?
I'm also intrigued by this:
"We refuse to serve justice and thrive only on truth. All we want is for it to stop. Just stop... And all will be forgiven, oh, humankind"
I just hope it won't be only the girl in love who helps him and other people will join him in this battle to save the earth.
The story is beautifully written, I really liked the rich descrptive bits here and there, it's also sensual. Thank ypu and good luck with your writing!
