I like the allusions to other works of literature you make. "Beating heart beneath the floorboards." It was interesting that you should mention that right then, considering you had just mentioned what Mikey did to Aardvark because of some physical trait he could not stand. Ha. I'm trying to explain YOUR story to you. Sorry. Anyway, good job. O.O

i love reading this. but i havent yet been able to describe how your writing makes me feel. i just love it so much. i love flicker. i love his ghosts. i love the mysteriousness of all of this. i LOVE this.

Geez. What a turn. I knew you posted this story under vampire but as I was reading it I thought: "you know, it's okay if there are none." You write wonderfully. I'm intrigued and enamored. Flicker is like a wildcard. I'm never sure where he's going to end up but I like that. Right now I'm most concerned with why he wants to find vampires and what he might do if he ever finds out Alistair -- or rather, David -- is one. Mickey just seems like trouble but you've tricked me before.

this is such a pleasure to read. the writing is really fantastic. the way you express, the way you describe, it is so perfectly otherworldly it suite this story so wonderfully. I am loving David, and the daddy vampire. there are so many particular things that i like about each chapter that when it comes to reviewing i just give up because it is all good and it is all worth mentioning... for instance, the bit where you describe their bond, like a chemical etc is so cool, and i love the way the older vampire cant deny his boy anything, and i love how 'david' wants to punish him and how he wants to steal the wine just because his 'daddy' possesses it, and i just love everything about david, i like how he is recalling fragments from before etc etc
i am so floored by your writing. i feel a little embarrassed by the way i always gush so badly in my reviews... i just am so excited about your two stories.

once i was over the ritual happy dance that takes place after seeing a story of your's update i could finally read it.
!!!!!!!!! is my reaction. basically i have no words.
basically it was written so beautifully, my heart beat a little faster, the pace was wonderful, i felt carried by your story and then the chapter ran out and i was suddenly dumped and left gasping for more.
so the vampire thing is in full swing. i can not freaking wait for more.
i can not wait to learn more about the vampire and to see how david is different now.

You really know how to get your reader into the story. When Flicker woke up and needed that breath of oxygen, I suddenly felt the same while reading it. It's like I am your characters when I read about them.

Woah! A plot twist! Who would've guessed.. Alistair Wright, becoming some vamp's play bitch? Keep writing!

f@cking hell. you own me now. i started crying. seriously. mikey's big reveal really affected me. this is so incredibly more than anything i have read on this site. do you have other writing on other sites? i would love to read anything else that you have written.

wow. so mikey is a murderer too? so dark and complex your characters. poor flicker. mikey is such an awful guy. but i like him still. your characters are driven by such high tension passions. i cant even imagine it. another brilliant update. thank you. and we are still looking forward to more aure.
