I'm still curious though, as to how exactly this will turn out to be/as a paranormal. It's certainly unusual, yes, but I've seldom read stories of the paranormal genre with as latent a debut of any paranormal elements as this one.
Good to see updates are becoming more frequent.

An intriguing story thus far. Reading it I've seen shades of "Leon: the Professional" and "The Mechanic" in the characters and plot. I hope to see more of this story in the future.

I read through all of this in nearly one go, quite unable to stop even when it hit about 7 in the A.M. Hah! It's a wonderful piece and has me perfectly in suspense as to where it's going to go. I was not at all predicting, from the initial setup, the turns it would take to get here--it's been a magnificent trip so far. The beginning of it actually had me thinking of the French horror film "Livide," which I heartily recommend if you've not seen it. Mechanically, you do an excellent job of conveying your character's unique voice--Aure is an incredibly strong narrator, even though he is such a quiet and reserved one. I'm looking forward to the next update!

Ah, I'm so glad to see more of "Aure"! Just the other day I was thinking about it and despaired it had been abandoned. First of all, thank you dear author for giving us more story.
Secondly, it's impossible not to comment on the character of Aure. As the plot advances, with ever more clear hints of just what exactly is going on, Aure becomes equally complex. Granted, he's no posterboy for mental health, but he nevertheless has an intriguing, complex personality. A twisted upbringing has wrapped him, and the hints of a dangerous creature lurking behind his porcelain doll appearance are thrilling.
Such a fascinating tale, this is!

It's the first time for me to have read anything upon this site. I do believe the only thing I can lead with is the word "unique." As nothing else quite fits. For how I'll feel upon completion, that is a mystery kept to myself. I can only be curious as to what other fiction lurks. Well, kudos to the author for leaving a link to access this particular website. As I would have never thought to search it out on my own.
I didn't think it was my cup of tea. Nor do I really think that now, but I still find it compelling to read, to a certain point. Good luck in your endeavors. Whatever they may be. Keep on creating stories enjoyed by a select few. Whatever would they read without your writing?
