and, I like the flashbacks, I admit I skip them to first finish reading the scene that's currently happening, but then I come back and read them and I think they are essential parts of the chapters x

:) i like the flashbacks, especially they add more to the relationship between lukin and kailin. your chapters are well written and the flashbacks are pretty appropriately placed.

every time i think something is going to kick off between lukin and kailin you surprise me by having characters that act rationally instead of the yaoi-drama-hissyfit semes and ukes that i am used to (and dont get me wrong, i love those types of stories lol) the fact that lukin believed him for instance. i love that.
the ways i think things are going to go don't go the ways i think...
those naughty arlonite rebels! if Zaks had been killed i would have been devastated... i dont suppose that there could be a bonus chapter between him and his dominant??? i would love to see how that works...

i think the flash backs are wonderful but i did feel that in this last chapter the flow of action was upset by the flash back with the dagger. but that is the only time i wasn't totally on board with a flashback. i LOVE reading about young kailin and lukin.

Oh no Zaks!! I hope he'll be okay (though based on the author's note it sounds like he will be). Oh silly sweet child, Lukin won't punish you for defending yourself Kailin. :) I think it's great that there was a flashback/memory during the attack to explain why Kailin hesitate to touch the dagger and the revealing bits about Lukin promising to always be by Kailin's side/ cute! :)

Gosh I get so angry about all this submissive and dominant nature stuff that I amaze myself. But you're doing great if you manage to work me up so much so I can only say - keep doing your thing and don't mind people like me who want to rip the heads off any dominant and pound some sense into any submissive for being the way they are :) Lovely story, looking forward to more.
