I am hopeful that Kailin is promised to his keeper. It wouldn't necessarily make the best political sense, but the dude has a decent rank and is very loyal. As the king said, what's the point of being a king if you can't ruffle some feathers? Can't wait for the next chapter and great job especially mentioning the dominate instincts

And Yes I have to say that I did think in the moment I read about him being promised that he is promised to Lukin but how could that be if Lukin doesn't know it, I wish he was promised to Lukin from the start, though of course :)

I personally didnt mind that there was not as much dialogue, sometimes it's nice to just 'see' what's happening without the dialogues

I like this story, it might seem predictable at times but what's not to love about a budding romance between two compatible people who don't really know it themselves. I'm still awaiting a smut filled moment between said characters, don't keep your audience waiting too long.
