this is why Kailin needs to be careful and talk to Lukin about things!!!!! Poor Lukin is going to be quite hurt when he finds out or maybe pissed or maybe both. :( so horribles. maybe the injury in the next chapter when help soothe things over. great story and can't wait for the next update!

Weeee... I'm always reading updates w/o logging in but I just have the need to review now and comment. You got me hooked with this story... So heartwarming and the search and discovery of live between Kailin and Lukin is just so exciting. Hope that you can update as often as you can! Keep well.

Hi, I really love your story! Especially the flashback to when Kailin was younger. It is just so cute to read about how Lukin care about Kailin all the time. And I would have to admit I am one of those people who do not review on good stories. I guess I have to make it a habit to review more this time :D Yeah your story is great by the way. Though I would love to see Kailin being more resistant towards Lukin because in my opinion, he should not be so willingly submit to Lukin who was his keeper since he was young. Sudden change in their relationship will be hard to accept I guess, even in real life. But no matter what, I still love both their characters :D Keep it up. Looking forward to your next update! YAY!

This isn't a review as much as me talking about why I'm struggling with this story. The story is well written. I like the characters and character development and the premise is an interesting one. I guess my problem is that this society seem to equate submissive with inferior and unable to make decisions for oneself. From the sitting on the floor and being fed like an eromenos, to a guardian being able to marry you off without your consent, to the attitudes that submissives shouldn't be allowed to make any decisions - ["'That’s the way Wen wanted it.' Araz explained, 'Traditional.' 'She shouldn’t have a say.' Lukin muttered with a look of censure."]. The fact that a clever sub can find a way into manipulating a dom doesn't erase the fact that he/she has to get permission for all aspects of life. I think that is what I find most objectionable in this society is the extension of sexual domination/submission outside of the bedroom. I suppose it's a tribute to your writing that I find this fictional society so disturbing. (Yes, I know there are places in the world where women in the particular are married off without any say and treated much the way submissives are in this story). If I were Kailin I would have tried to run away, too. I realize there would be no conflict and thus no story if Lukin "got it" right away but I hope at some point that he and Kailin will start listening to each other and that Lukin will realize that it's Kailin doesn't object to bonding with him as much as not being given a choice and believing that Lukin is only doing it to please his father. It would be nice to see Lukin reach a point where he realizes that he's in love, that Kailin's happiness is more important to him than his own desires, and that forcing a bonding will not make Kailin happy.
