Oh my goodness there is so much going on I don't know where to begin! But I do know one thing we are definitely at a turning point for Rain and Salem. And I am so proud of Rain for finally speaking his mind and not letting other people do it for him! :D

Wow,the ending....is that Rain's sticking up for himself with Salem, continuing with his mom now? Good for Rain. Although personally, I woulda picked Cali....always wanted to live there. And Rain could find a cute surfer dude. Aren't all the surfer dudes out there cute? At least on 90210 they are. lol

I was so proud of Rain for sticking up for himself with Salem. There comes a time when a person can only take so much and Salem has had that tirade coming to him for a long time.

And I do believe it when Salem says he loves Rain. Of course, but as Rain pointed out, holding somebody "captive" with a contract and all, isn't quite the warm and fuzzy feelings you usually associate with love. Salem just should have tried the traditional route and that may have worked. If not, he could have resorted to what he did. lol

Rain should make a pact with him: he would continue with Salem, but on his terms, and Salem would have to talk to people, change his clothes, and for God's sakes, START EATING! =)

Another awesome chapter Kereliah! Have a Happy Thanksgiving! :)

*squeals and falls over* I've been waiting for this update since last Wednesday. At this point this is my absolute favorite story that I'm reading, and if you could see my bookmark folder for AFF alone, you would feel REALLY complimented.

I love Salem and Rain, even if they are both fucked up and Rain is in his own self righteous world, not that I blame him of course!

I shall eagerly await another wonderful chapter, perhaps with some consenting porn in it? Hm? Too much to ask?

Well of course Salem loved Rain. I'm just concerned about what Rain will do about it. I'm just glad he's not running away. Which brings me to his mom. If I was her, I'd have reacted just the same. Utter shock.

NEW CHAPTER!!!! *does the new chapter dance* I didn't really think that Salem would take Rain's emotional upheaval so well. Being told that Rain would rather commit suicide than be with him would be pretty upsetting, even if it's something that Salem already suspected deep down inside. I wonder if he is internalizing it or if he is going to increase his self-destructive behavior ... Or go in the other direction in the hopes of impressing Rain. I guess we'll have to see. As always, I've already read the new chapter 3 times and am super excited about what will happen next!!!

hello, i've started reading this for awhile now and haven't really reviewed so first off, sorry about that because this REALLY deserves to be reviewed with every chapter. Anyways, this chapter was such a turning point for the story but the part that struck me the most is Rain's realization about wanting to and being able to forgive Salem. THAT was such an intelligent bit you decided to put int he story that really gave a lot of depth to Rain's character. And yum I loved that angst! Let's admit it--Salem totally had it coming! But ah....oh Salem! You have successfully created a character that I think the readers (or at least me) are really indecisive about.....like he is completely worth hating but then in some twisted way we root for him too. I think that is really hard to do (if that was your intention) and you've done an amazing job with that! Anyways, just wanted to tell you I am really enjoying this story and especially loved this chapter. Can't wait for more--seriously!!

Of course Salem knew damn well Rain wouldn't say anything to anybody. I think Rain would feel guilty if he turned Salem in. And really, this may sound horrible, but who's to say Dr. Crawford would even BELIEVE Rain? I mean, I know, who would lie about something like that, but maybe Dr. Crawford wouldn't believe Salem could do something like that.

And I really feel for Aunt Julia. I know exactly how excited she was to find out Salem had a friend, never mind someone he actually TALKED to! =) I remember everything about the first time my youngest ever talked to anyone outside the family; it was thrilling. He even got in trouble in elementary school a few times for talking! I was thrilled! lol So I know what Aunt Julia's going through. She only wants the best for her nephew and it's so frustrating for her that she can't communicate with him. Oh, I was wondering why he even has a cell phone if he has no one to call or talk to. Well now she knows he talks to Rain, but before that.....why did he need one? And what was the significance of Salem leaving the phone on the table before they left the house?

And again, how can he not be eating????? I know he's not dehydrated, but shouldn't he look emaciated or something? Like enough for Aunt Julia to take him to the hospital to be fed intravenously?

Another terrific chapter Kereliah! :)

I understand that Rain was hurt. I also understand that said hurt isn't something you can just forgive. I get it when people say that Salem is messed up but dammit if I don't want to yell GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER at Rain until he gives me the Salem/Rain happily (kink-ily?) ever after that I've been rooting for. I realize this isn't fair to Rain, nor is it remotely realistic but there it is. Sue me.
