could have been a cat.
or an animal running from the noise
the story hardly proves there are ghosts
i find myself skeptical even after being told differently
maybe i'm just lame
and don't recognize a good ghost story when i read it.
you know what's scary?
blood, ya sometimes blood,
the blood of a loved one smearing across
the wall in front of you.
thats mind numbing terror.
like your little child, or mother
their veins ripped and blood splattering
everywhere as it pumps out
you desperately trying to stem the flow
knowing in your mind that there really
is no hope and they die.
right in front of you.

All the while screaming what do I do?


Or zombies.. zombies are funny
and fucking terrifying.
or cannibals. ya..
