This is wonderful. I have no idea how you communicate the caring between Exit and Jack so well when they donb't get a lot of time together, but it's there as clear as day. You've created such a vivd world. Can't wait for the update.

Ooooh! Owwww!
What a start to their new life inside the big house!
Yeah, while there are sadistic priests and nuns it
always seems as though they're just too put upon
to have decent manners! Just as bad really!
Really liked that turn of phrase when Jack felt that
all the colour was draining from his life.

Brutal way to curb a temper! Ouch!
Frustrating to have to curb it while
the nuns get to indulge theirs!
I'm pissed off from here!
Like how Jack can catch up with his brood
and set eyes on Exit by doling out the potatoes!
