I love this story but I must confess, I do miss Jason being taken care of, like he was when he was a cat. Anyway, looking forward to the next update!

O Queenie! Mama always said if you don't have anything nice to say especially about the dead don't say nothing at all bUt:) I hate Klee! I have small moment of understanding why he did something but all in all I hate THAT man. Ok maybe I should say that kind of man. Anyways I don't like what he's done to Jason and Kell relationship. You know this just proves to me that our boys To-chan and Papa are the real thing:) I bet you're surprised that I can't stop thinking about them:) I'm sorry Queenie I couldn't help it. You really pulled out all the stops on this chapter! The crew being gases so Klee could sleep with Kell was brilliant and definitely Space Queen stuff. All the great things you had in this chapter I'm whining about the dead man. So Harry want to be a captain huh? I wonder will Jason sleep with Berim? Will Fret fall for the new guy? Did Klee do something to Howard? Space Queen I loved this! All the twists and turns. You have my mind in overdrive ^_^

I find this story very interesting, although I still have no idea where its headed or what the plot is. So far, it seems like we are watching a space crew come together and grow into whatever its going to be, so there is a lot of mystery in this for me. I haven't yet developed any connection to any particular crew member as of yet, I wonder if you'll delve deeper into individual characters as the story line continues or if Jason's character will start to develop more? Although he does seem involved with the crew, and his love for Kell is apparent, he almost seems a little detached from them too..I wonder if this will change as different crew members come on board. Klenn seems young, manipulative, and sorta a massive jerk...but his intentions are a curiosity also, and a bit of a surprise to find out that Kell was as dangerous and unstable as that doctor made him sound....hmmmmmm.....waiting to find out more :)

Queenie you put a twist in and I didn't even see it in the same galaxy:) I had no idea Thom had issue! Thank goodness it was dealt with. Swiftly in Kell style! I totally loved the time spend with them on their new plant. I thought I wouldn't like Berim but I was wrong. First I didn't know he was in love with Jason. And the hard life he had lead and how he owed Thom. I know Jason said he got his finger broke because of him but I still hadn't put it together he was in love with him. The little boys were so cute. Having a 'Danni' you are so brilliant with words Space Queen:) I loved it! ^_^

the kids at the end are so ooooo soooooo cute!

that goldsmith needs to lay offa bermin (sp). like geeze, Bermin only moved in just recently, might be 'grieving' over that pedo's death, and is burdened with a lot of responsibility. who has time for relationships? get a clue man!

I must say, the world you have created is truely fascinating. I am trying to get myself up-to-date on all your original stories but there are only so many hours in a day and this annoying hinderance called 'life'...

Im enjoying this story very much, tho i didn't forsee the change in Kell when Jason went from cat to crew. I like seeing them taking care of each other. It was a surprise about Thomn and how quickly that 'issue' was taken care of. The notion that spacers space and dont produce what they trade gives this an interesting twist, seeing the crew of the Rosie try to adapt to this new and frightening circumstance.

It's fun how the stories overlap. I always wondered whether "Colours of the Mind" would intersect with "In the Cold of Space .." and progeny but it never happened. "Jason" is a tighter story than "Colours of the Mind" - it causes one to wonder if you reworked it after you started on Uchiha. You must have been thinking of "Jason" when you wrote Klennethon Darrent's deathbed scene; surely the portrait of the blond spacer is Kell. (Or perhaps a clone or print.) Or maybe not, who knows?

Okay...at first I thought..NOOOOOO!! Stay and limit your writing to the story that makes me happy!!..but then I put psycho fan back in her box and said to myself, "Self, this will be wonderful, a new story from your favorite author :)" At first it was a little hard to think of Spacers that were not Uchiha, and I found myself looking for similar characteristics..but by the second chapter they became their own crew for me. I like Jason, sorta like Kell...The chapters have length but they seem more like a set-up story..mah..that sounds wrong..I mean, more like were heading towards something more involved. What I do remember is that Klenn had a spacer crew that meant very much to him and that no one in known space messed with that crew (from Uchiha story line) and I was curious when I read that about why...or who the Rosie was..and now TADA!!...
I'm so happy :)

Charlie was weird lol. sort of wonder what his purpose was aside from showing day-to-day life of inner-circle conflicts. he was a nice mean twist to the ship, too bad the crew are too sensible and booted him out XD
jason needs more life ambitions i think. he is so complacent i want to spice up his life a little ;D
anyway, this was enjoyable chapter
