Oh, Kerantli, I was so excited seeing you posted another chapter, but then realized I won't be reading another update for two more months. :(

So...the outing was cute. I was confused though b/c I though Jake met Ellie and Co. at the train station and they all took the train into wherever they went. So how could Jake take Sam back in the car if the car is at the train station in their town?

Anyway....I'm glad Sam's cousin and step-father didn't see them. I was afraid they would get to Sam when he was with Nick.

This was such a fun chapter! And you know, since you mentioned the crutches, now I'm surprised the hospital didn't lend Sam any, maybe instead of the wheelchair.

I'm glad that Nick and Kale finally figured it out. But ewwww, Kale's first kiss with Nick tasted like smoke! Nick should have at least had a mint or something. lol I know, I know, I'm focusing on the wrong things. haha

Anyway, good chapter, I'm hoping the other shoe isn't about to fall and their good moods go sour with the return of Nathan.

Oh poor Sam. I think he went back to school to soon. He should have stayed at home and rested. He could have emailed all his teachers and gotten the work. If it was newsworthy (and why wouldn't it be?) they would probably all know about it anyway.

I wonder if the police have any clues to who attacked Sam. Did anyone bother to tell them that Trent and Co. have been stalking him?

Shit, was that Trent who attacked him? He was an animal; he didn's show Sam any mercy. It sounded like he broke every bone in his body. Jeezus, and to think this guy is supposed to be famiy.

This was such a nail-biting chapter! This was a really hard chapter to read, so I can imagine how hard it was to write it.

I'm anxiously awaiting the next one. :)

I'm a bit confused: I thought Sam was avoiding Jacob b/c of that nightmare he had with Jacob in it. He also wasn't going to any classes that him and Jacob shared. Sam FINALLY wanted to apologize to Jacob, but when he found him at The Crabtree, Sam was the one who asked Jacob if JACOB was avoiding HIM? I didn't think Jacob was avoiding him; didn't Jacob try to get Sam to talk to him, and didn't he talk to Ellie and/or Nick to see what was wrong? I thought that was in the last chapter or two.

It's great that Jacob and Sam finally got together, but bad that Trent found them. I'm worried for them b/c Trent isn't likely to disappear anytime soon. :(

So I'm confused: why did Sam ask Jacob if Jacob was avoiding him? Sam was the one who was avoiding Jacob after that nightmare he had with Jacob in it. Sam was the one who wasn't going to any of the classes that he shared with Jacob. So why is Sam asking Jacob if Jacob's avoiding him?

I'm glad they finally got together, but I worry now that asshole Trent is around.

Ha, you could have cut the tension with safety scissors. lol Everyone knows safety scissors can barely cut through paper. haha

Poor Sam. Poor Jacob b/c Jacob has no idea that Sam had that horrible nightmare which sounded more like reality, and Jacob was the tormentor. Sam should talk to Ellie and tell her about the nightmare. Then she can assure him that Jacob would never hurt him.

How do Nathan and Cody know each other? Does that mean Nathan knows Jacob also? Or did I miss something or I'm just not remembering?

So basically Trent is bullying Nathan into getting Sam and Nathan is bullying ANYONE he comes across to get at Sam. lol

Ellie is no match for Trent and Nathan. What's she going to do? Maybe she could file a restraining order against them?

It's good Ellie told Jacob and Cody what happened with Sam. I have a feeling though that Daniel is going to be upset he didn't get a chance to visit Sam in the hospital.

You brought me back to those carefree days when my kids were into Pokemon. But why wasn't my favorite, Pikachu, in the song? lol

I'm glad Sam feels safe with Jacob. Hopefully Jacob will be there with him when that asshole Nathan tries to kidnap him. So not looking forward to that.
