Yes, this poem is quite sad but it is also quite beautiful.
For me I think of my daughter that has passed away and oddly enough my two dogs that have passed recently within three weeks of each other after twelve years.
It is a beautiful poem that speaks of love and heartbreak. It will give any reader the gift to reflect back on someone that was dearly loved.
Writing is a wonderful way to preserve your deepest feelings and also a way of mending your broken heart and soul.
I am so sorry for what ever loss you had that inspired this poem, but I thought it was quite beautiful and very brave of you to put it out there.
