I've been a faithful reader since way back when you were still posting "Exit Strategy". I really admire the depth of your stories and your characters and I'm always looking forward to your updates. I especially like how you manage to keep track of the several interweaving plot lines (had to go back through all your stories and search for every mention of Clearwater after last chapter - I never paid enough attention to them).

But what I love most about Exit is the way he comments on his surroundings. You manage throughout your writing to stay faithful to his perspective and I'm very much grinning at the way you could pick up such a politically charged topic as pollution and eco-terrorism - all without losing Exit's unique (and seemingly naive but at the same time not at all) point of view.

Sometimes I wonder, whether Exit is the only sane person in the story. Seems so from his perspective :D

Chapter 17

Dear LL,

So Clearwater is revealed!
Can't wait to see what they want to show
Exit! (Exit is so ... ummm, TRUSTING!)))

Dig their names! Vixen, Stag, Wren!
Love the feel of leaving the crowded city
in that carriage, for the clean country!

So Exit's relationships with major players
now makes him a person of interest! I LOVE IT!

LL,

Great descriptions of the storm! Wicked!
Read that part over and over again!
I love a good storm and I feel kind of soaked
for having read that chapter!

The plot thickens! Very mysterious,

Well if they promise not to kidnap you it must be alright lol although if they were really kidnapping him they wouldn't have let him get clothes and give a hint as to where he is going

LL,

love Topher calling Exit, "Monkey,"
it is so cute when he does.
That Monkey has become a term of endearment,
is such a big change from when they first met!

Enjoyed Topher getting his own chapter!
(He's a complicated little guy!)
So smart, punky, sexy, sensitive and loyal!
No wonder Exit loves him!

Getting a better feel for Exit's flat,
what with the books everywhere! HA!

I don't expect answers to my ramblings,
just glad I'm around lately to plague a few
of my favorite authors!

So.... hmmm.... someone from the past will make

Chapter 14

Victor! Wow! What a dog!!!!!
HA! And Exit! What a slut! Double ha!!!!!
Very funny!!!!

Tense chapter! Great scene between Vio
and the Detective! Lots of suspense!

So who is following Exit?
Was Topher really the one targeted?
What evidence if any do the coppers have on Exit?
Who killed that girl? Or was it suicide?
Who was the father of the baby? Was there a baby?
Who fired the shots?
(Is the Captain going to make an appearance?)

These are just a few of the questions rattling around my brain
tonight! So! Can't wait for the next chapter!
