Chapter 22

Love the conversations between Topher and Jack!

I've been following your stories since the first Exit installment, so I apologize for the lack of reviews. I really, really love how diverse the characters are, and all the various environments they find themselves in. I think one of the most daunting aspects of writing is making a believable world, and I think you do that very well. Even though I don't find Exit the most compelling character out of all your characters, I must say, he has some crazy fun adventures. Your characters remain pretty consistent no matter what plot twists you throw at them, which cements the whole believability factor. Sure, there are some spelling and grammar mistakes, the pace is kind of slow in some parts, and I find Topher's speech pattern kind of odd (he doesn't use contractions?), but those are minor complaints in the bigger picture. Overall, I have really enjoyed your stories and I think you're one of the more underrated writers here. I hope the lack of reviews don't discourage you.

I like the way Exit's relationship has been going and I loved Vio's warning to him. It was also very nice to have Jack's point of view while Exit was away because I wouldn't have wanted to miss all that happened.
That hug of Vin was really something that stood out because Vin hadn't been described as a very good person lately and that simple gesture suddenly endeared him to me more than I thought anything could. It also reminded me that Vin insisted that they go rescue Exit in the first story and made me doubt Jack's perception of Vin as a man who simply doesn't like his toys taken away. So I am more and more distressed to see all those proofs stacking against him. I really hope that there is a good explanation, on the other hand all characters can't be good and it would be an interesting development if Vin were indeed the killer.

Sorry for not being a regular reviewer. I will try to do better.

Love the atmosphere, the food, the wine,
the conversation, the wine, HA!

Love the way Topher speaks with no contractions,
he so thoughtful and Jack is falling in like with him!
