Wow well you certainly earned some originality points for that smut scene! Now I feel paranoid that Coma's going to get the burn after what Ilya said. I was also not expecting Coma's name haha I agree with Ilya Benry is a very cute name. But is the continuation of CAST-? Who is Benry really? I'm looking forward for more! Those two have great chemistry, well done.

Arghhhhhhhhh - I totally wiped out my initial review for this chapter -what a twat!
Anyway to review again, thought it was a great chapter and still loving Ilya to death. And think that Coma/Benjamin/Benry/Cast… is part of some faction/group and has more seniority and ranking than initially thought, even a possible leader!?!?!?!
Enjoyed the back of the truck with Illya and Coma/Benry!!
Adore this story and cannot wait for an update!!

that lil smut scene, hollymotherofgod. i have never read anything like that before. seriously, and, ive read quite a bit( a lot!) of smut. sure, something close to that, but never 2 dudes who still have their clothes on, and with (little bit) penetration. i had to sit here and think about this, like, IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? lol. just holly cow. that has to be the sexiest thing ive read in a while... i hope you take that as a compliment and not as like weird or anything. authors like to hear that their sex is sexy right? ah i dont know!
anyways, kudos for creative frotting.
ok. li confuses me. no doubt he mustve known what everyone thought of tomlin, that he was a terrorist and responsible for the burn. but li knew other wise, so why would he deliberately try to keep illya in the dark? getting the newspaper, no doubt editing it? getting the food so illya didnt have to go out in public. the apartments tv was probably monitored to right, what with the so called crappy reception?
ok, and if lambs the bad guy, (responsible for the burn?) why was a metahuman working for them? i just dont know.
and what is this physical connection that is felt when benry and illya touch? interesting.
the disease is pretty creative to... man, just wow. such an interesting story with plot man. plot! and mystery! and its slash! awesome. ok. ill definitely be checking back for updates and your tumblr. nice pictures!

(6) Little bit of unexpected hotness never hurt anyone, how else are you supposed to stay warm in northern Canada ;) Just the fact that Canada was mentioned in a story makes me rather happy, it's just so rare :) And I loved the Santa cameo, I guess he has to do something the rest of the year, might as well help out metahumans.^^
So if humans are the reason for accelerating the burn I understand why there would be a lot of human children with metahuman parents who are orphans but then wouldn't it work the other way also. Wouldn't that mean that the metahuman children of human parents would also be dying at an increased rate since they would spend most of their time with their parents. Or is it that the exposure could be a cumulative thing, parents have lived longer and had more exposure and the child just compounds that. But I would still think that means that metas with human parents would probably die at a much younger age due to 'early exposure'. I suppose we'll learn more as we find out about Ilya's research, or if I'm even understanding things right.^^

Great story! When I first saw it pop up in the latest stories bit for some reason I didn't immediately read it... and I really don't know why because the synopsis sounds exactly like something I'd read.. clearly I'm an arse! But it truly is an awesome story so keep up the good work.
...on the subject of arses... after the sex scene was over was it just me who kept thinking that Ilya must have some serious skidders? =P
