Woot! I did miss you! I can't wait to see what is going to happen in LAMB. I really hope Li has a good reason for his betrayal....because he needs one. I hope Benry is ok. I'm sure he isn't dead just because of his restorative powers.

Yay, you're back! Loved the update. The chapter end was so sad. Hopefully Ben will show up next chapter to save him then he can find the cure for Li.

(9) I knew it was Li and I'm not surprised there was a fight but The Burn, now that was surprising especially since I really don't want Li to die. Honestly (& surprisingly) I'm liking the interaction between Li and Ilya even more so than Ben and Ilya. Part of that could be that the situation's a little more complex and not as black and white where Li is concerned plus there's a lot of history between them. There's this love and friendship between those two that seems to override everything, even all that's happened and who Li works for.
This could be a problem when Ben comes back and I'm cheering for the other guy but for now the interaction between the two makes things interesting.^^ And yes I said when Ben comes back because I'm pretty certain he'll be fine and without proof saying otherwise I'm pretty sure he's not dead :) How he comes back and what he does plus the idea that there could be a mole makes me very excited for the upcoming chapters ^_^ Plus I can't wait for more of Ilya's mouth, he's certainly a feisty little bugger who knew he'd be such a scrapper.^^

Read your own personal-review, and what a downer you are on sweetheart! You were highly self-critical -but at the same time, it is understandable.
As an author, you will never be satisfied with what you have written, and whatever you write, I guarantee five minutes, an hour, day, week, month…You will want to change something if not everything. It is inherent, stemming from our emotional barometer at the time of scribing: how we feel, what we want to say it, how we want to say it. And as time moves on, these change, and so we want to change what we have written.
As writers, we learn, develop, and mature. At this moment, for me, you have written a piece that certainly captures the imagination, simple and very enjoyable. Is it an epic masterpiece? No, but maybe after you re-read it (and you will) you may publish again with a different perspective and a more seasoned eye and will be able to incorporate all the core elements you expressed, and it very well could be.
This is your first story, and for a first story, it is an admirable read, and a commendable place to start.
