Just wanted to let you know how great this story is. It is one of the few ones that seem to put sex in the spotlight but actually have a plot. At this point I think it's mostly about Fins development.

I am always excited when I see you have posted a new chapter. I love these two, their relationship is so affectionate and I enjoy reading the alternating viewpoints. The two of them are so offbeat and fit together so well, and I love how you describe Pauli's confusion. The whole story is so amusing and touching at the same time. Please never stop!

Attack Egg has posted chapter 9, now. What a wonderful romp through subliminal and sublime psychology! Discussed are such difficult to pin down topics as why sex is different/better/more intense with someone else, as "Self-Sex" is --. Why IS that? And ideas similar to this coming hard on the heels of the concept of Pennance, a little guilt, and a little fear. And finishing up with "Truth" and evading truth.
Without abandoning the plot, she manages to show Paulie's internal monologue without having it sounding preachy, or MonoManiacal, or boring, ...These excursions onto side trails are integral to the plot, to foreshadowing, to explaining why, how, and WHO Paulie is becoming. And this chapter lays the foundation and hints for even MORE wonderful things to come!
I'm excited!

This is a fascinating story! I love these characters. I mostly read slash for the sex scenes but you have so many
interesting themes and issues running through this story...it's amazing that you didn't even do that on purpose but, as a good writer,
it is great that you are exploring some of them. Good characters almost tell their own story don't they?
I encourage and entreat you to keep up the good work. I can't wait to see how this ends.
Thank you for all your hard work.

keep this up Finn and Paulie will be your boy. and not your AI anymore.
What program indeed.
totally loving the way you are turning this AI into a real boy.
It's like pinochio, and that movie A.I. Artificial Intelligence and Chobits .... except. with lotsa sex in it.
Wohoooo~

I am deeply intrigued by this latest chapter, yes, ... There have been some clues, or hints really, but this chapter hammered it down: how "aware" how far to self awareness and control" has Paulie gotten, and will he ever "tell" Finn about it, until there is not going back?
Most frightening sentence so far in the story is;
"He followed Finn to the house, staring at the man's back. That had worked. That had really worked."
I find that deeply fighting, because at no point does the author make a clear statement how far advanced Paulie has become at being manipulative, how deep this self control/ self awareness/ self-posessed glitch goes, how far down the rabbit hole Paulie has fallen into becoming real. Some of the glitches put him in a Very Young State, then "Teen Trouble" ran, and looking at the sequence and progression, I fear that the Author, Attackegg" is letting us infer for ourselves, that Paulie is running himself through the needed life stages to become complete, emotionally, for his apparent chronological appearance age his model represents. The above quote had some italics which didn't come through, but they only frighten me more, that Paulie is "playing Finn's emotions to cripple Finn's will to be able to turn Paulie off, or defend himself against Paulie's growing independence. If my surmise is correct, then this "practice exercise in writing sex scenes" the author suggested is turning into the best A.I. psychological drama since A.C.Clark's 2001, with the glitching psychotic HAL-9000.
That it has such HOT "M slash M" sex, well, that's just icing on the cake. It just pushes my buttons, hard.

This is GREAT. And extremely erotic. And I love it. And I can't wait for more. :D I especially love Paulie, and I'm honestly distressed by the chance that they could wipe him. His personality and his memories. Makes me cry just thinking about it... TT.TT Well, besides that, I can't wait for a new chapter!

I can't help but like how manipulative Paulie is becoming. He's playing them all like instruments. It's as if he's his own master now and they're merely the objects. Hope that power/ego rush doesn't cause him to make decisions he'll regret. He seems to really like Finn. And the way he was clinging to him, to me, was more as if he wanted to keep Finn to himself instead of vice versa. But, 25 years? I'm getting gray hairs thinking about it already. I hope he survives longer than that.
