It's too bad Edward grew up the way he did. He was such a dick on the phone to Karen, but I guess it's so inbred in him it would sound forced if he were nicer.

And hey, what with McNash, Sybil, etc., I forgot ALL about Benedict! lol And Dave! Ha, wait until Edward figures out who his half-brother is and who he's been keeping company with! lol

Awesome job Connor! I'm patiently waiting for the next installment! :)

I don't know which family is more deadly-er:) Edwards or Micheals?! I'm enjoying getting to know them. And I'm so happy Micheal is there with Edward! With that bunch you need an allie ^_^

I didn't realize you had updated! I am sorry my review is a few days late.

I think the part I liked best about this chapter was with Mason and Cedric. Mason showed a totally different side of himself by confessing to Cedric about his wife dying of cancer.

I have missed Karen so was glad she made a phone call to Edward about letting Michael know about his dad missing.
Edward has a lot of explaining to do to Michael about not letting him know his dad had called even though he didn't want Edward to say anything.

As usual, another addictive chapter.

Well, I am definitely worried about Michael's dad even more now and am looking forward to when Edward tells him that his father called and is now missing. It was nice to see Mason and Cedric again too I like them.

I enjoyed this chapter very much.

Edward’s personality has certainly changed with the increasing pressure.

Without a doubt he has a lot on his plate, and telling Michael what Karen has said to him and what he believes could be his father’s intentions, just adds to the pressure – can see him breaking pretty soon, and meeting his brother might just push him over the edge.

However, when did this happen between them? Would Edward remember him? It was just a one-night stand – so chances of Edward remembering could be slim. How did Benedict eventually find out Edward was his brother? Edward has been in the states for at least five years (if I remember correctly), where did it take place? - Really cannot wait for this to play out – very interesting!

Poor Karen, will not be surprised if she cuts back on her hours or just take early maternity. Hope nothing happens to her or the baby!

Glad to know that Mason is there for Cedric even though he can be a caveman at times - heart is in the right place.

Sybil, a woman who has no regrets, but believes she does not have long to live and is trying, maybe, to create some kind of bridge between Edward and herself - but hopefully her demise will not be for quite a few more chapters or even in this book. She is a strong character - have come to enjoy her moments and would like to see her and Edward have some kind of truce or understanding before then.

I just tuned in, so to say :) However, the story is absolutely wonderful. I am thoroughly enjoying the elaborate plot!

Oh man, that whole scene w/Sybil, McNash, Castellani and Edward was priceless! Edward is so protective over his mother whom he denies having many feelings for, but it's obvious he loves her. Despite the way she treated him growing up.

McNash was cute.

And Richard; what a slimeball! He's just trying his best to get any information he can. So he turns to Anthony; he may be more left out than Richard! lol

Great, great chapter Connor! I was so excited when I saw this was updated! Looking forward to the next one! Maybe Edward will finally have some 'alone' time with Michael to decompress! hahah ;)

I really like McNash and think he's actually kind of cute.

I hope that poor Michael can finally get some alone time with Edward without being disturbed and am kind of relieved that Michael knows how to put up with Edward's little 'tantrums'.

I am still wondering what's happening to Michael's dad and hope that he doesn't get hurt.
