Thank you for another great chapter, keeping the momentum is commendable.
Benedict and Edward finally meet, it was a believable comfortable reunion; liked when the penny dropped for Edward (who required prompting), and they both remembered the experience with just the right amount of awkwardness thrown in. Also, found it amusing that Benedict’s conversation with his brother was punctuated with his inner musings and admissions of not so brotherly love.
Richard trying to attack Edward’s character for the supposed benefit of Michael, and then Edward (with his usual pretence) almost proved Richard's point. However, he came to his senses. Just. Still feel he is teetering on the edge, but we shall see.
Special mention for the pleasing hard and hot sex between Edward and Michael, just the right touch of masochism, with the forever willing Michael, and his ambushed behind.
Would not put it past Anthony to try to hurt Edward physically, hope he does not meet up with Dave or Robert, it would not be a good thing.
For me, there was once a physical dispersion of the key characters in this story, but now we have a merging and overlapping of relationships and families, creating a ‘small world’ feeling, a convergence, of key players. Cannot wait to see where it will lead.

I really liked the fact that Edward took control over Michael but then wanted to pinch him for trying to push him away again. I was worried Michael was going to walk out the door and never come back. I mean how often is Michael going to open his heart to the Brit before he gives up and leaves. I wonder if Richard heard what they where doing in the bedroom, LOL.
As usual, another very entertaining chapter and looking forward to the next.

OMG! Grrrrrrrrr!! Edward is so emotionally stunted, it's not funny!!! And Michael is a hot headed Italian who flies off the handle. The two of them are fantastic together. But i must say, the best part of this chapter was the antagonistic, acrimonious, hateful banter between Sybil and Anthony. OMG! I was loving it!! Anthony IS a scary person! I'm really frightened for Edward now.

Awesome chapter!
The conversation with Sybil and Anthony with a doubt, stole this chapter for me. This is where your writing just dazzles in terms of demonstrating your skill in writing these wonderful characters, with their amazing personalities. Sybil really held her own against Anthony’s tirade; never letting him gets the upper hand in the argument, even with his demeaning words. He truly is a nasty piece of work he really is nauseous and does hold the mantle for the baddie, even outdoing Robert who is murderer! – But as a character, he is incredible.
Sybil/Anthony such a complicated and bitter union. Goodness knows how they managed to have children, was it forced as in ‘lay back and think of England’ kind of way? Or something far more aggressive - It is just such a sour relationship - but there is this book and the next to learn more about their past.
On another note, why did Anthony refer to Edward as ‘That little bastard you gave birth to’ and ‘your spawn’? Is there something that Anthony thinks is amiss?
Will certainly think more about Sybil and Kate. There is so much history between all three of them, a very complicated ménage if you must in loosest terms.
Really, do love to read when Edward has his moments of ‘coldness’. The thought process you describe is complex and yet always allows you see how he is dealing with the issues that give reasons for his actions and how he believes he should behave in order to protect himself - always well done.

Lol. Sybil is also starting to grow up on me.... so inteligent and cunning. Let us hope that this situation with impotent Anthony will make sort of peace for Edward and her relationship.

Oh my gosh! I am sorry for confusing you with my review comment about Antonio and Sybil but when I read this part (pasted below) I thought it might be possible. If she beats the cancer and they meet, perhaps they would fall in love. I dislike Luciana and think Sybil would be a better match for him. They both have a lot in common especially having spouses who are so bigotted.

The way you decribed Edward shutting down let's us into his mind. He does it when he doesn't want to be hurt. I'm still processing the rest of the chapter.

Chapter 21 - This story is perfect as always. The reduction in intensity and focus on the relationships is nice though I'm sure you'll get back to those cliffhangers soon. Cedric is absolutely heartbreaking. When he was trying not to break down, oh god. Also, I've discovered the most wonderful HP fanfics from your story; if you've written any I'd be more than interested.
