Holy shit!! I am just amazed every time I read a new chapter! It just keeps getting more and more intriguing! Sam had a baby? Tony finds out about another son. Kate and Sybil have words. Dave and Antonio bug Robert. Love it!!!

Understand that Michael might feel, helpless and frustrated, I guess. Not sure if Edward was aware of Michael’s feelings, but believe it could be the start of more antagonism between them. Especially now Edward's mind is focused on the baby and the other images and feelings he experienced.

Nice conversation with Kate and Sybil - Do not believe they truly hate each other. Could Sybil believe that with so much history, Kate has the audacity to ask for friendship? Only time will tell.

Now we have Dave (in love with Benedict) working with Antonio to get Robert. Dominic is pressing Robert to ‘get’ Cedric and holding something over Anthony. While Antonio is looking for Robert, and Robert (trying to keep his cool) is looking for Cedric and running-scared of Antonio (hope I got all the pieces right so far). So here, we have all key players in one chapter - an interesting change of perspectives.

Anthony did not know about Benedict – Nice touch. Now, my mind is working on how Anthony will react: Can it be true? Can he stake a claim to his estate? Can he be used? - final one is definitely more Anthony’s way of thinking, I believe. Goodness knows what choice words he will have if he finds out his other son is gay!

Can safely say that my appetite for thrills is certainly being filled.

Chapter 24: Oh.My.God, this was fantastic!!! When Edward and Benedict finally met and realized they fucked each other 10 years ago, I was squeeeeing with laughter. That was EXACTLY how I expected Edward to react. And the intense fight between Michael and Edward almost had me in tears. God, Edward is such an asshole! I thought for sure he would let Michael go but at the last moment he reeled him back in, thank god! And Richard is such a slimy snake. He's wanting to be Mr. Big Shot but fails on all levels. I loved Michael's retort to him right before he left. Brilliant!

Chapter 25: NO NO NO NO NO !!! Anthony is such a bastard!! He's going to have Cedric seduce Edward! And Samantha is dead! This story just keeps getting better and better!

Shit Edward! Don't do it! Don't let Cedric's hotness fool you! lol Think about Michael; you guys love each other! Omg, what an ending Connor! That slimeball Anthony; always up to no good!


And wtf? What happened with Sam??????? Whoever killed her is targeting the family, but who are they targeting? The parents? Anthony I'm sure. It wasn't Robert, was it? We haven't heard what he's up to lately. Robert and Dave.....up to no good probably. Oh Antonio; I almost forgot about him! Antonio and Dave are co-conspirators, right? Against Robert. I wonder if they know about Sam.

What a great chapter Connor! I was at the edge of my seat the whole chapter! Can't wait for your next one! :)

nice, that's a turn Cedric is finally meeting Edward. I'm so sorry for Sam. Who has a motive for killing her?

Your first book (On The Line) in the trilogy was encouragement enough to create an account on AFF.net at the beginning of the year (Jan 2012). I like a story with meat on its bones: a strong plot, diverse characters, twists, action, and thrills. Also very much into supernatural (not a real romance person, but can deal) therefore your books (and I am in no doubt your final book) have all the elements I relish in a good novel not to mention the superb writing. So yes, I am a VERY happy reader! :D

Samantha murdered was a side-swiper (Anthony’s reaction was just so…fitting). Not too sure, how I feel about it yet, just letting it sink in as there are so many questions surrounding this, most importantly I believe is, why?

Glad to get a glimpse at the relationship that is Cedric and Mason. Have to agree with Cedric on his appraisal of Mason (need I say more) – but Mason has genuine concern and for good reason.

Anthony now using the services of Cedric, to seduce his son (figured he would try and hurt Edward in some way)- but with Edward always willing to demonstrate his ‘bastard’ side at the expense of Michael, I am not hedging bets against it happening!!!

Edward getting to use his ‘skills’ again - cannot wait!

Ok, so I finally have some time to read this amazing story! I just finished the second to last chapter you have posted and all I can say is what a fucking asshole Edward is being to Michael! Ok, I KNOW Edward is NOT a nice person; how could he be? Yes, you reminded me a few chapters back; the way Edward was brought up; w/o any love or emotions or human contact for God's sakes, of course he's not nice. But he was exhibiting an emotion with Michael: love. How could he totally turn that whole argument around? When Michael confronted him about knowing that his father was in England, Edward should have apologized to him. But instead, he made it Michael's fault for assuming Edward knew about it!

And what's this shit about finding a brother he only found out he had? Why didn't he tell Michael about Benedict? Why did he speak with Kate in private? Why couldn't Michael be there when he took the phone call? If I was Michael, I'd be fuming.

Ok, got that all out! lol On to the next chapter! :)

Ha! Eighteen pages! In 12 pt.; pfff, that's nothing! I just got thru proofing a chapter on here that was twenty-two pages. The typical chapter is between twenty and thirty pages. In 12 pt. But yeah, I know it's a lot to write. It's much different writing a chapter that long than just proofing it. Have pity on your betas, lol.

Ok, back to the review:

Shit, Anthony is so cruel it's scary.

And Edward! Shit half the time I wanna slap him upside his stubborn head! He keeps reminding Michael that he's a bastard. He's just using that as an excuse to get out of his horrible behavior. Enough is enough. Be a man; man-up to your many flaws and try to get better. Isn't any of Michael's deceny rubbing off on him? I know, I know; Edward doesn't want to get hurt, so he acts like an ass so no one will get close enough to him to hurt him. Thank God he realized that he was being just like his ass of a father and he stopped Michael just in time.

I was so hoping David would have shown up at the meeting w/Edward, Benedict and Kate. I really liked 'bonding' Edward and Benedict did. Ha, and Benedict is still hot for brother, lol. :) Half-brother or no half-brother, maybe David needs to watch his back? Funny how everyone is so closely 'related', for lack of a better term. Antonio and David joining forces to find Robert, Benedict and David being lovers, Benedict and Edward as half-brothers, and Edward and David's history from the states. All interwoven. You have truly created a masterpiece Connor. What a joy to read! ;)

So Edward and Benedict finally met. Benedict is smart not to tell Edward Dave's name. Micheal wears his heart on his sleeve and I'm glad he's breaking through Edward's walls. I can feel the love from Edward for Micheal. Also they're fight made me teary eyed, I hate when they fight.
I'm afraid of what Anthony is planning.
