I have to say, after the epic cliffhanger at the end of On The Line I was starving for the second book. And now that you have updated (so quickly - thank you!) I am finding myself ravenous for more!
Also, it it bad that I love Phillips?

Ch. 1: OMG! I'm so pissed at Edward right now. I truly am! He has some gall being upset with Michael for not contacting him about Pauling dying. HE left Michael! Didn't tell him he loved him when Michael did and he has the fucking nerve to be upset! My heart is breaking for Michael right now. He's been deserted by the man he loves, he lost his baby sister, and Edward is still clinging to the hope that his family actually gives a shit about him. AND he's allowing them to use him to save their estate. I just don't get it! Great chapter, btw! When an author can get me this riled up, I know they are doing something right ;)

Well, I guess I was seriously wrong about Edward's mother faking being sick and she really does have cancer. Sorry 'bout that! She is just a mean lady, and almost but not quite as bad (at least I don't think), as Michael's mom. I still think that Edward should be the one who makes contact with Michael first and hope he does. Edward better not cheat on Michael with this Gregory or anyone else for that matter or I won't like him anymore and will think he's just a 'slut' who likes jumping into bed with just about anyone. Of course, I don't mean that, I really love him, but he better not! He has been kind of promiscuous with his love life so I hope he and Michael are using 'protection' but am sure he is clean, but it's funny that topic didn't come up or the use of condoms. Especially, the first time Edward and Michael made love. I am relieved that Dave actually felt bad about Paula being killed instead of Luciana it makes him - more human. I still don't like Phillips and hope he pays for his actions. I am anxiously waiting for Edward and Michael to be together again soon and hope we don't have to wait too long. I loved the scene between Christine and Michael it was cute and kind of brought him out of his depression. I am still wondering who their new boss is!

Relish the fact you did not have them call each other, it just adds to the delicious tension. The longer they leave it, the worse it will be – angst at its best. They need each other, want each other, but too stubborn to make the move. And as they are both reaching their emotional limits, you wonder who will run from their situation first? Loving it!

Ch. 2: I truly hate the person that Luciana has become. It was very hard to read her dialogue. I don't know how Antonio didn't keep from strangling her.

You're and angel:) My heart is breaking for Edward and Micheal. They both need a shoulder right now to lean on but like the girls keep saying they are to stubborn to lean. ^_^

Ch. 3: Wow! Is there anyone Robert Phillips DIDN'T fuck back then?? The man got around!! I thought Mickey has the gay guy who was passed as David ODonnell, Mary's first husband.

Ch 3 continued: I forgot to also add that I find it surprising that Dave is having some regret for his revenge spree. I guess it took someone innocent to die before he realized he went too far. Now I'm very anxious to see where this takes him now. He's not one to sit by idly. I have a feeling he's going to learn of Edward's predicament and come to his rescue or something to that sort.

I'm still pissed at Edward for picking his family over Michael. I do not blame Michael for not calling him. If Edward wants him so badly, he needs to get his ass on a plane and fly back and apologize and beg for him back. His family's problems can wait a few days. And yes, I know Edward has been trying to call him but it's not good enough.

Nicely done again...not too fond of a lose Edward but meh... what can we bloody do about it heh?

Anyway keep the inspiration my dear, really really good story.

I was so happy to see you posted another chapter today but then read it and cried! I am totally pissed at Edward and I hate to say this but I don't like him anymore. I am totally disgusted with him and the way he jumps into bed with any pretty face. I can't believe he did that to Michael! The nerve of him even thinking that he and Michael had never made any kind of commitment when Michael told him he loved him before he boarded the damn plain!!! Edward is just as bad as everyone in his family and doesn't deserve Michael. I want to bitch slap him for cheating on Michael. I wish you would write in another character that is worthy of Michael because Edward is not. I am not forgiving him for this unless he redeems himself and I don't think he will because he's too conceited. Ooooh, I am so mad at him!!!! Then even thinking, since Michael didn't call him and probably doesn't want anything else to do with him, that a legit reason to sleep with someone else? Michael opened his soul to Edward and he turned his back on him. Even Karen told Edward how hard Michael was dealing with Paula's death and he still didn't call him. I am sorry but Edward is a low-life jerk and Michael is better off without him.

Now, I am going to cry and check back in a couple of days to find out what happens next!
